Ellie bit her lip and put down the shake. She looked back at him and acted casual about it. "Yeah, it was. It was really nice of him to stop by." She smiled. Ellie then remembered something she was going to ask him when he first entered the room, "Oh yeah, I heard a voice outside before. Was that Vic?"

"Yeah..it was." he smiled. "So you guys are friends now?" he asked, genuinely. He wasn't trying to fish for any skeletons in the closet. When Ellie mentioned Vic, Alex sighed a bit. "Yeah...she was...but don't worry. She left as soon as she came. I don't even know why she came back."

She shrugged her shoulders a bit. "We're not exactly friends but we're getting there.". Ellie took another sip of her shake before placing back in the spot it had been sitting previously. She smiled, "Oh good. She's a pain." "I'd watch out though. Next thing you know, she'll be coming on to you behind my back!" Ellie laughed innocently.

Alex nodded his head when Ellie talked about Sean. He was happy that they were trying to be friends again, that was always difficult. When Ellie said that, he froze. He might as well tell her the truth. It was better coming from him instead of somebody else. "Ellie...you're right. When she came here, she was asking how you were. I told her you were fine, and then told her to leave. and she pinned me against the wall..and kissed my neck.." he told her. "But I pushed her away. You have nothing to worry about, I promise." he said, grabbing her hand.

Ellie stared at him in shock. Victoria had come onto him?. She started to giggle, as if she was not at all phased by it. "Oh you poor thing." She grinned, laughing.

Ellie started laughing and Alex wondered what kind of meds the doctors had her on. "Why are you laughing?" he asked her.

Alex knew that question was coming and he cringed when he heard it. "It's just..i know you're not feeling well. And i didn't want to upset you..cause you have absolutely nothing to worry about." he explained to her. "I planned on telling you, just not tonight."

Ellie nodded, she understood his reasoning. "But it's not like I should be upset with you. You didn't make the move on her so it's not your fault." She smiled.

"Right.." he told her. "But I didn't know how you would react. I mean some girls would freak out, and just automatically assume stuff." he explained. Which is what happened the majority of the time.

Alex just laughed at her response. She was much cooler than the other girl's he's dated. "So..can i get you anything?" he asked. "I don't want you to be stuck in this room with nothing to do." he chuckled.

Alex seemed relieved by her answer which pleased her She shook her head and smiled, "I'm fine. The nurses have been really lovely, they brought me in some magazines." She said holding up the cover of latest edition of Cosmo magazine. Alex laughed as he read the headlines on the front. They were all about sex. "Maybe you should be the one to read it. You might learn something." Ellie teased with a giggle.
