Ellie leaned forward and kissed him on the cheek. It was in that moment that she knew none of this would worth it if it meant losing him and all of her friends. She looked him in the eyes, "I'll get better. I promise." She whispered.

After Ellie said she would promise to get better, Alex hugged her. He didn't want to let go. He smiled, tearing up a bit. He knew it wasn't manly, but he couldn't help it. "Oh, and one more thing. Will you go to the dance with me?" he asked cheesily.

His words surprised her. Just a few minutes ago, he'd been angry at her and now he was asking her to the dance. She let out a smile. "Of course I'll go to the dance with you."

He smiled, hugged her and then kissed her on the cheek. He was happy that she made the decision to get better, and that would mean she would be around. He was happy that there was actually an opportunity for them. The doctor said that she had to stay overnight, which upset her a bit..he could tell. "Do you want me to stay with you?" he asked her. He didn't want her to be alone.

She shook her head, "I'll be fine, go get some rest.". At that moment, nostalgia and deja vu swam around her. Her memories went back to the last time she'd been in here. She'd spoken almost those very same words to Sean. He hadn't wanted to leave her side even for a second. Ellie's heart sunk as she realised that her feelings for Sean were still bubbling up towards the surface. She shook them away and looked towards Alex and smiled weakly, "I'll be fine, really it's okay." She said to both Alex and Charlie. They both needed to go home and rest.
Alex and Charlie informed Ellie that they were going to go get dinner together but they'd be back to say goodbye before they went home. As soon as they left, Ellie pulled out her phone and sent a text message to Sean.
I know it's been the while but I'm in the hospital. I could really use some company. I miss you. Hope to see you soon x
As she placed her phone back on the side table, she gazed at the clock watching the minutes pass by. First 5, then 10, then 15, then 20 and Sean was no one to be Sean. Ellie had almost given up hope when the door swung open and standing there was Sean, two coffees in hand.
(Since Emily doesn't really go on anymore Alex and Charlie can come back whenever!  )

Alex nodded, kissed Ellie on the cheek, and Charlie & him left the hospital. Thankfully, Charlie worked with Alex so there was no awkwardness between them. They grabbed a quick dinner from in 'n out. Alex asked Charlie about Jordan, since he was there at the party. "You're too good for him. He's a tool.." he told her. Charlie nodded her head "Yeah, well there's no hope anyways..he's got a girlfriend." Charlie shook her head. She was mad at herself for even thinking of him again. They finished talking and headed back to the hospital. Charlie grabbed a chocolate shake for Ellie- Maybe she'd want it?
They got back to the hospital, and as they walked through the parking lot, Charlie noticed a familiar car. Sean's. Did she invite him? she thought. She wanted to stop Alex but it was too late. They were already in the room. "I brought you a chocolate shake..if you want it." she said and set it on the bedside table. (is alex supposed to see sean there..or no? haha i didn't know! and i know : ( em and stephi need to come back! )

Ellie smiled as Charlie placed it on the side table. She probably wouldn't have it but it was the thought that counts. Her eyes went back over to Charlie, "How was your dinner?". Had it been awkward between them?.

The way that Victoria and Jordan had exited the hospital was unpleasant. Jordan had been angry at her the whole ride home and he insisted she apologise to Ellie's loved ones. Victoria agreed to do that, reluctantly, not that'd she mean a bar of it. She gracefully waltzed her way over to where she remembered Ellie's room had been. Lingering outside the door was Alex. He seemed to be contemplating whether to go inside or not. "Hey babe," She smiled at him. Softly - and flirtatiously - she ran her fingertips up and down his left arm "How's Ellie going?". Victoria produced a concerned face to go along with her fact. She was born to be an actress.

Alex had come across this Victoria chick a few times, and he absolutely despised her. She came in asking about Ellie, which he knew was total bull. She didn't care. "She's fine. You can go now." he told her.

Her mouth dropped a little as the rudeness that was present in the room shocked her. Victoria narrowed her eyes and moved closer to him, almost pinning him up against the wall. "Y'know, I always thought that you were attractive but now you've got a bad boy attitude to you.." Victoria looked him up and down before moving in closer so that he could feel her breathe on his neck, "..yum.". She let her lips kiss his neck oh so softly before she moved away. That had been a technique that she had used on many occasions. It always gong to the boys reeling. Victoria smirked, "Send Ellie by love." and with that, she was gone.

Victoria walked away, and Alex had a 'What the hell just happened' look spread across his face. He hoped no one saw anything, cause that meant absolutely nothing to him. He looked around, so confused about what just happened and then Charlie came out. "You can go in and see Ellie if you want." she told him as she saw Victoria exiting the building. "I-is that?" she said and demanded Alex tell her everything that happened. "You've got to be kidding me." she said and ran after Victoria. Alex entered the room where Ellie was. "How are you feeling?"he asked her.

Ellie smiled as Alex entered the room. "I feel much better, thanks.". He took a seat on the chair that was facing diagonally towards her bed. "How as your night? Anything eventful happen?" She laughed. In Kingswood something eventful always happens.

"I'm glad." he smiled. Alex thought about what happened in the hallway with Victoria. He was definitely going to tell her, but not right at this moment. "Uhh..good. Charlie and I went to In 'N out, and that was fun. It really hasn't been that eventful." he laughed a bit.

She was glad that Ellie and Alex were getting along nicely. "Aw, that's nice." She commented with a smile on her face. She leaned over to the side table and took a sip of her chocolate shake. Surprisingly, it went down quite nicely.

Alex noticed she was drinking her shake, and that made him smiled. She said she would get better for him, and she was already trying to. "Yeah, she's pretty cool!" he grinned. "So..was that Sean?" he asked about the boy who had walked out when he explained what happened with Victoria to Charlie.
