Charlie immediately disagreed. "Noo. Never. I would never be able to do that." She told him. "I mean, I've never sang in front of a crowd before, let alone national television." she explained. "You're pretty much the only person besides my parents, that's heard me sing." she said, babbling. "But thank you." She smiled.

"You could so do it though, just saying." Sean smiled, throwing more clothes in random drawers. "Honestly. I wouldn't say that if I didn't think you could." He laughed a little, and looked at the clock he put in his room. "It's already one in the afternoon? Would you like to go get something for lunch...or something? Ice cream? My treat." He asked. "It's the least I could do for all of your help!"

"I know you wouldn't..but I'm used to just singing in my room. When no one's home." Charlie explained. "Maybe someday, but not now.."She said to him. "Sounds good." She grinned and they left to go get ice cream. "So how long have you been singing?"

"Well one day." Sean smiled. They walked side by side, as Sean quickly learned that everything in this town was within walking distance. "Pretty much for as long as I can remember." Sean laughed. "I never really considered myself to be good until a few years ago." He shrugged. "What about you?"

"It took you that long to realize that you had the voice of an angel?" She laughed a bit. "Did no one ever tell you?!" She asked. "Pretty much all my life, when I was younger, like 4, I used to sing everywhere i went." she told him, giggling a bit.

Sean laughed. "Well thank you, very much!" He smiled. "And it has obviously paid off." He grinned.

"You're welcome!" She smiled. "So do you write songs too?" She asked.

"I've tried. They're all just...boring." He laughed, shrugging. "I'll just stick to singing covers for now. Do you write songs?"

"I doubt that!" She told him. "People always say that, and then it turns out to be an amazing song." Charlie shrugged a little. "Uhm..I write a little bit" She explained. "They're kind of..stupid."She said, kind of having the same response as Sean.

"I doubt that!" Sean said, mimicking Charlie. "One day we'll just have to hear each other's songs." Sean smiled.

"Hey, the difference here is I'm telling the truth!" She laughed a little. "Yeah, one day." She smiled. as they walked up to the ice cream shop, they saw a group of people stumbling, walking with alcohol bottles in their hand. "This town is just weird." She said, half to herself, and half to Sean.

"I'm telling the truth too!" Sean laughed. "Uh, yeah...it's nothing like back home." Sean half laughed, half looked worried. He opened the door for Charlie, letting her walk in first.

"I just..wonder how it's gonna be for the next few months." She said. "Yeah, it's way different. Are you into that stuff?" She asked, wondering if she was talking to someone who would think she's naive as well.

Sean shook his head. "Not at all. I mean, in Europe the legal drinking age is lower than it is here, so all of my friends were doing it and stuff, so sure...once in awhile. But nothing good ever came out of it. I made dumb decisions and it just led to fights. So I don't drink." Sean shrugged. "Do you?" He asked, raising his eyebrows.

"Ah, i see." Charlie told him. "My story is pretty much like that. All my friends partied, but not this bad. And no, I'm not. I mean, I've had a sip, but that's about it." She confessed. "I'm happy I'm not the only one in this town, not obsessed with partying." she explained. "We can stick together!" She laughed.
