Charlie kind of felt like she might have said the wrong thing, she kind of talked too much when she was nervous. She looked at the boy. "Yeah, I get that. I mean, it must get somewhat lonely." She said, biting her lip. "Well, if you're ever really lonely and need someone to talk to, I'm within walking distance." She offered. He shook his hand, and his grasp was pretty strong. "Nice to meet you. I'm Charlotte, Charlie for short." She smiled.

"Thank you." He smiled a little, quickly realizing how alot of people in this town weren't mean. "Well if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm within the same distance." He laughed. "Nice to meet you Charlotte, or Charlie for short!" He laughed at his own imitation of her accent, even if it wasn't funny. Everything said in an accent that wasn't Irish seemed funny to Sean.

Charlie laughed a little, listening to Sean imitate her. "Are you mocking me?" She laughed a little. Her southern accent must be coming out. I mean she did JUST get here. "So how come you moved here?" She asked him. It seemed like a valid question.

"I just might be." Sean laughed loudly. "Well, I auditioned for a talent show..." He started, making sure he kept the story the same every time. It was the truth, but he didn't need anyone thinking weird things about him. "And I made it to the second round, but I got kicked off. So I came here to start fresh. Everything at home reminded me of it." He blurted out quickly, not wanting to drag it out.

Charlie laughed at his impression of a country accent, once again. "Not bad." She listened to what Sean had to say. "Oh..I'm so sorry." She told him. "So, talent show? What kind of show was it?" She asked him. 'Talent Show' Could mean a number of things. Like America's Got Talent, So You Think You can Dance, or even American Idol.

"It's fine." He shrugged a little. "The X Factor..." He said, unsure if she had heard of it. Truthfully, he didn't know if it was a show in America yet. "Simon Cowell made it, it's sort of like that show you guys have..." His voice trailed off, as the thought. "Idol? Or something?"

"Oh my gosh!" She exclaimed. "You were on that show?! That's absolutely amazing." She had a dream of singing, but she was way too shy to pursue it. "Honestly, that is the coolest thing ever." She said again. "I'm sorry you didn't make it, but you must be pretty good to have made it even that far." She smiled.

"You've heard of it?" He laughed. "Yeah, it was pretty cool. It was pretty much the best experience of my life. And I guess I was good, but not good enough..." He sighed, shrugging. "Which is why I came here. Maybe I'll be good enough here!" He laughed.

"Have I heard of it???" She laughed. "Of course I have! It's one of the biggest shows here." She smiled. "I don't think it's because you weren't good enough , I think it's because they're just looking for something. Something that you can't really explain. But a lot of the time, they end up with people who just aren't that great." She explained. "Your time will come." She grinned. She honestly believed that.

"Thanks." He smiled. "I hope so." He looked around the house, not wanting to unpack the boxes. What she was saying made sense, and it made Sean feel a little better about getting kicked off.

"You're welcome." She smiled and looked at all the boxes he had to unpack. Looked like a lot of work. "Do you want some more help? I don't mind. I've literally for nothing better to do." She said and laughed.

"If you want." He laughed, ripping the top of one of the boxes open. "I mean, this is all just clothes and stuff." He laughed, picking it up. He led her down the hallway and into his room. "You can sit, if you want." He smiled, shoving clothes into random drawers.

"No biggie." She laughed and followed him into his room. Charlie grabbe the clothes from the boxes, and handed em to Sean. "So you sing. Do you play any instruments?"

"I play guitar." He said, pointing to the guitar that was standing up against the wall in the corner of the room. "What about you? Any singing or instrumental talents?" He laughed.

Charlie turned to the guitar. "Is this a taylor c114?" She gasped. This was basically her dream guitar." This is so cool!" She exclaimed. "Uh..I like to sing, just..not in front of anyone." She laughed. "And I play piano." She smiled.
