"Nice to meet you man!" he shook his hand. "Sorry for barging in, I figured I'd come since ..I think you know." he nodded towards charlie a bit. "But this is cool of you to do. Who else is supposed to be coming?" he asked Jade.

It was clear that Sam had meant that he wanted to be there for Charlie. Jordan must have picked up on that too as he shifted uncomfortably in his seat. "Wesley's dads going to join us and Chris. Besides that, I think everyone who is going to be coming is already here." Jade said answering Sam's question. Ellie got up from her seat to go to the bathroom and as she walked by Wesley she nudged him, "She's single.". Ellie was grinning, having fun teasing her friend.

Wesley couldn't help but laugh to himself. Jade's friends were great. "Oh, so apparently you are single? I have no idea where I heard this from though. I mean, your friends didn't say a word." he smirked and couldn't help but laugh. "I like them." she told Jade.

Jade's cheeks went a shade of pink and she had noticed Ellie just walk by him so she must have been the one to tell him. "Of course they didn't." Jade laughed and rolled her eyes at Ellie's behaviour. "It seems like they like you too. You fit right in"

Sam went into the kitchen, and caught Ellie coming down the hallway. "Hey there." he grinned and hugged her. "How have you been?" he asked. They really never got to catch up since he was back.

"Same old same old." Ellie said with a shrug of her shoulders and a smile on her face. "Hey, I never got a chance to tell you how sorry I am about your loss." "You doing okay?". She didn't want the holidays to be dampened by the sadness but she wanted to be thankful that they were staying strong.

It was almost impossible to keep the smile of Jade's face. Her new friend was being such a sweetheart and such a charmer. Is that what he's like with all the girls? She thoughts in the back of her head. "I've only really been here a year and I clicked with Charlie instantly so about a year." Jade said. She looked over at Charlie, "How long have you and Ellie been friends? Two.. three years?" She guessed.

"I'm doing alright. Sadly, I didn't spend as much time with them as Charlie did, so I felt like it didn't hit me as hard. But, it was still pretty devastating." he explained. "How about you? No same, old same, old stuff. What's going on?" he asked her. He was honestly worried and wanted to know she was okay. With everything. Her disorder, stalker..her sister..

Charlie was beginning to feel third-wheelish around Jade & Wesley, but she was so happy for her friend. "Uhm, actually, a little over a year." she smiled. "It's crazy it feels like I've known the both of you way longer than that!" Charlie was kinda feeling awkward seeing Jordan in the corner with his child. It's not that she wanted to spite him, but she knew it was best to just not make contact. She took her glance away from him, and looked back at wesley.

"That makes sense." She said. Sam brought it back to her and she hated opening up about herself. "Um, well, today's pretty hard with the smell of all the food and stuff..." "Abby hates me and moved out but it's okay. I'm okay.". Ellie gave him a reassuring smile.

Jordan felt that his daughter was the most beautiful angel in the world. He never got tired of looking at her. But even with her there, the tension in the air was obvious. "Hey guys.. I think I might just go. I don't think anyone really wants me here and... I don't want to ruin your holiday.." He got up to leave and headed for the door.

"yeah, I bet." she sighed. "If you need anything. And i mean anything I'm here for you. And obviously so is Charlie." she mentioned. "I know, you're pretty strong. But a person can only handle so much." he explained to her.
Suddenly, Jade's mother called out that dinner was ready. Everyone gathered in the living room, and there Jordan was by the door; About to leave? He knew things were awkward, but no one should be shut out on thanksgiving. He walked over to him, "C'mon just sit down, enjoy the meal, and then you can leave if you really want to."

Ellie was very thankful to have such a great support system around her. They all thought that she was strong but without them, she would crumble. The group made their way to the table and Ellie watched on as Sam convinced Jordan to stay. He propped April into a baby high chair next to him and then sat down at the empty seat next to Ellie.

Charlie took a sigh of relief as her brother kept Jordan from leaving. Not that she really wanted contact with him, but she did not want it to be awkward either. She watched as everyone took the plate from their seats and made their way into the kitchen to fill their plates with food. Jordan was sitting there with his baby, and Charlie tapped his shoulder. "Do you want me to watch April while you get your food?" she asked.
