Chris' friendzone comment also had taken Ellie by surprise but she hadn't thought for a second for it to be about her. Right on cue, Chris entered the room. He took of his shirt, exposing his muscled chest and got into bed. Ellie caught sight of Alex's rigid expression. Chris being topless was something Ellie had become familiar with over the years as every time he slept at hers, he never had a top on. That's just how he slept. She looked back at Alex and kissed him. "We'll talk in the morning, okay?" She smiled.
(Jordan)
"I didn't even do anything!". Jordan was really sick of how Charlie would always blame him when things were going wrong with her and a guy. "Everyone was leaving him out. Including you so don't blame it on me.". He sounded mad. He was mad. He didn't mean to yell at her but it came out through annoyance. "What does me having a girlfriend have anything to do with whatever is going on with you and Jake?" He said.

(Alex) "Okay." he said and smiled at her. He look at Chris and waved bye and went to his room.
"You blatantly left him out of the whole entire volley ball game, you made me kiss sean in front of him, and as for me ignoring him, it's cause i was always helping you." she said and sighed. He had a point, she did leave Jake out..but it wasn't on purpose. "Because you seemed to care so much about our relationship and where we were at. And people who are in relationships, normally don't care." she said again. She was mad now too. He wasn't being honest he was being stupid.

"You kissing Sean was a dare. It had nothing to do with Jake. Next you're going to be saying that you made Ellie skinny dip for Alex's pleasure?. I left him out because he sucked. He wasn't picking up his side of the game so me and Alex had to take over. I cared about our relationship and where our friendship is at because I care for you. Not because I'm in some evil plan to take you and kill everyone else who tries to get anyone near you.". Jordan couldn't believe Charlie would accuse him of all these things. He was being nice, a good friend to her and this is what he gets?. "I'm going." He said to her plainly. He got up out of bed, grabbed a spare rug out of the cupboard, took his pillow and went to lay down in the living room. No way was he taking this shit from her.

Ellie got under the covers after Alex left and he put his arm around her and pulled her in close, something he had always done all the night he had spent at her house over the years. "Can you hear that?" She asked him. He frowned unsure of what she was talking about. "It's sounds like yelling.." Ellie said before he could question it.

Jordan was blowing this way out of proportion. He got up from the bed and Charlie just lied there pissed off. She second guessed going down there to follow him.. she was going to get absolutely no sleep. She grabbed her phone, but her boots on and walked downstairs. She was going to go for a walk- that always cleared her head. She went downstairs and passed the the living room. "You started the conversation. You asked me about Jake and you got pissed off and marched out because I told you what i thought?" she said, and then walked out the door. She was so done. They clearly couldn't be together and they couldn't be friends either. None of this worked out.

Charlie followed him out there and he groaned, pulling the rug over him. "Told me what you thought?" He yelled, pulling the rug back down. "No. That's not what you did. You pretty much blame me for why you ditched Jake. You were too busy helping me?. I'm sorry but I don't bloody control you. You control yourself. And now apparently I care too much at trying to keep a friendship and that makes me horrible.". Charlie stormed off and he jumped off. "You know what, I'm going.". He banged on Ellie's door and thanked her but told he was going on. He chucked his shirt back on then grabbed his car keys, turned on the engine and drove off.

"seriously jordan, you're just gonna leave?" she asked as he ran upstairs. Charlie and Jordan have fought before, but not like this. And she was almost positive that they would not be able to come back from it. Charlie didn't even speak after everything he said. Because maybe she was looking way into it..and Jordan was completely over her. He was calling her out, and for once she actually was the bad guy here. Even then, she still thought he was being unreasonable. She watched him drive off and walked down to the lake sobbing. None of this was ever going to be okay.

Ellie jumped up out of bed and saw Jordan drive off. And in the distance she could see Charlie walking down to the lake. She was hugging her elbows so Ellie guessed that she had been crying. She followed down her down and sat beside her on the lake side. "What happened?"

Charlie wiped her eyes. She felt like Ellie was always the one having to deal with her drama, and she felt a bit guilty. "We fought..and he left." she told Ellie. "I'm sorry..we probably woke everyone up. I never expected that to happen." she bit her lip to keep from crying.

She frowned a little. "I figured that is what happened but why? What were you fighting about?". Ellie put her arm around Charlie, trying to comfort her.

"He asked me if it was his fault that jake left, and I told him no, not completely...but the whole volleyball thing wasn't helpful." she kept explaining. "And then I mentioned that he was acting strange...and he literally went off." she paused. "Everything he said was true though. I mean, he was trying to be a friend. And me ignoring Jake, that was me doing that.." she caught Ellie up on all the rest of the details and put her head in her hands. She messed everything up.

Ellie sighed and listened as Charlie explained all the details of their fight. It was a difficult situation as both Jordan and Charlie were right. She was unsure of what comforting words she could give her friend. In the silence, she could hear someone approaching them. She turned out to see it was Chris, rug in hand. He draped it over the two girls shoulders. "I didn't want you to catch a cold out here." He explained, now standing in front of them. He was still topless and the moonlight was shimmering onto to him making him look kind of.. well, beautiful Ellie thought to herself.

Charlie wiped her eyes "Thanks." she said. Although she wasn't able to smile. "Sorry we woke you..." she said. Charlie knew there wasn't really anything she could do to fix what happened, and she had to accept that.

Chris just shook his head, signalling for her not to worry about it. He sat down on the opposite of Ellie in silence. The next thing that they knew the sun was rising and the birds were chirping around them. All three of them had fallen asleep on each other outside but barely gotten any sleep at all. They'd spent most of the night/morning talking.
Tired as hell, the three of them walked back into the cabin just as Alex and Sean - blissfully unaware of the previous nights events - came out of their bed room. They looked perfectly refreshed while Chris, Ellie and Charlie looked like hell.

Charlie was still reeling from last night's fight and wasn't really up to pretending to be perfectly fine. "Thanks for staying up with me, guys. You really didn't have to." she told them. She promised herself that she wouldn't allow any drama this weekend, and what happened? .. she sighed and went into the kitchen to grab a water bottle then sat down on the living room couch.
