She looked back at Alex as he spoke. "Bit rude." Ellie mumbled under her breathe. Her gaze went out to the window just as Jordan and Victoria stopped making out. "So, did you guys enjoy the trip?" Jordan asked.

"Yeah..." pretty much everyone chimed in. Charlie looked to Alex and could see that he didn't really mean to be rude. He was just so fed up with Victoria. "Yeah, thanks Ellie." Charlie said. "It was nice to getaway for a bit." she said, speaking for the first time within hours.

Jade had been working two jobs lately to try and keep up with her rent that she was slowly falling behind in. Why couldn't she come from a rich family like almost everyone else in Kingswood? She watched as Charlie and Sean and all their friends walked in but she could sense there was a lot of tension between all of them. What was going on?
Charlie got up to go to the bathroom and before she could walk back to the table Jade called her over. "Is everything alright with you all? You all seem.. tense." Jade commented. "And, who is that?" She grinned, nodding her head towards the new boy sitting with them. Someone had called him Chris earlier on.

Charlie didn't mind explaining everything to Jade. Ellie disliked Jade.. a lot, but Charlie and her were actually pretty good friends. "Yeah.." she bit her lip. "We were up in the mountains over the weekend, and on the second to last night..Jordan and I...had a fight. it was a big one. And he brought victoria along for whatever reason." she tried to explain. "It's a long story." she sighed apologetically. She wanted to fill her friend in, but didn't really know how. "Oh, that's ellie's childhood friend, Chris." she told her.

Jade sighed. She'd been witness for a lot of Charlie and Jordan's relationship and a lot of it lately had been fighting. "He's totally trying to make you jealous with Victoria." She said, looking at Victoria who was practically sitting in Jordan's lap. "You're ten times better than her anyway.". Jade internally cursed when she found out that Chris was Ellie's childhood friend. Ellie hated Jade and she knew she would sabotage any chance Jade would have with him. "He's cute." She smiled.

"He's not. Partially what the fight was about." she admitted. Charlie couldn't help but smile at Jade's comment. "See, this is why I keep you around." she laughed, jokingly. Then she mentioned Chris. "I know right." she smiled at her friend.

She frowned as Charlie went on to explain what had been said in most of the fight. "Honestly, I think he's just mad that he still loves you and you're not just running into his arms. Most of his life that boy hasn't had to do anything to make a girl like putty in his hands. He just looks at them. With you, it's different and he doesn't like having to work for it." Jade scoffed. Welcome to reality.

Charlie listened to what Jade had to see. It made sense. "Maybe..but if he's like that, then he needs to be with another girl." she told her. "I mean look at all the rumors that Victoria made up a month ago..about you, and sean and me?" she added. "Jordan knew about it, and he didn't stop her. He will NEVER change." she explained. "But thanks for trying to cheer me up." she smiled a bit.

She sighed remembering how the rumours had spread like the plague, ruining Jade's reputation. "I'm sorry, Char. I really thought he was different with you." Jade said honestly. Everyone had thought that he'd changed for her. Maybe it was just some big act.

Charlie felt so bad that Jade was involved with those rumors. Charlie wanted to fix it so badly, but she could do nothing. "It's okay." she admitted. "I mean, at least I found out now and not later when he was actually my boyfriend..ya know?" she told her. "He told me him and Victoria weren't doing well..ya know before the fight." she explained. "So I have no idea why they're making out...."

Charlie laughed a little. "Hmm, well I've had one actual boyfriend..so, I'm not really smart with boys logic." she explained to Jade. "But really, I think Jordan's just stupid. He's hurt me too many times for me to ever get back with him." "Like..ever." she told her.

She nodded, understanding where Charlie was coming from. "That's probably for the best. He seems like an ass who has a tantrum when things don't go his way." Jade said. "You've got that new guy now. What's his name? Jake?"
