Alex listened to her as he explained the situation between her and Sean. He could tell that she was still really hurt, and trying to not cry as she explained how she left him. "I think that your motives were right..it was just probably hard to understand where you were coming from." he told her. "But you shouldn't feel bad about it..because it's not like you broke up with him for no reason..you were thinking about him, not you." Alex said. He felt kind of guilty that he made Ellie tell him about their relationship.

She nodded as she knew that that was how Sean especially felt about it. He couldn't understand her motives. Ellie looked at him and smiled slightly. "I-I thought you'd think I was a massive bitch for it.."

"Of course not." he told her. "There's always two parts to a story..and i wouldn't think that you'd break up with him just because." he explained. "Did you ever explain to him why?" he asked her.

She smiled and bit and then nodded. "I tried to tell him. He just never understood."

"Well that's too bad." he told her. "..cause he missed out on being with a great girl." he smiled, trying to brighten the mood. Ellie seemed really sad talking about Sean, and he didn't want to see her sad anymore.
