"Well do you necessarily need your parents consent?" she asked. "What about those kids without parents or family? what do they do then?" she stated. Aiden shivered for a second, and Charlie knew something was wrong. But she didn't want to bother him about it.

Aiden shrugged. "I couldn't tell you!" He frowned. "Maybe they're stuck there forever?" He suggested, a smile coming across his face.

Charlie was a bit confused by his statement. "What i'm saying is maybe you'll be able to transfer without your parents consent." She told him. "How old are you?" she asked.

"Seventeen." Aiden stated. "How old do you have to be to just transfer without your parents knowing?" He slightly laughed.

"Hmm." she paused. "I think eighteen. Just because that's the age that you're technically an 'adult." she told him. Charlie really wondered why Aiden wouldn't want his parents to know.

Aiden sighed. He tilted his head to the side and frowned. "So I guess I have to go home..." Chills were sent down his back just as the thought.

Charlie watched as Aiden shivered. Something was definitely going on. She bit her lip, and hesitated to ask. She thought it might be too personal. "You know...if home isn't necessarily safe, you don't have to go back." she said, trying to dig into the situation.

"Where could I go then?" He questioned. He was always told he needed to go home, and there was no where else to go.

She bit her lip. "Well, your wallets being shipped here right?" she asked. "Weren't you planning on staying there?" she asked, now a but confused.

"Yes," He started. He was planning on staying in a hotel, or renting an apartment. "But what do I do about the whole school thing? Every kid needs to be in school, isn't it some sort of law?" He frowned, making the whole situation confusing.

"Well yea.." she said, now pacing. She did that when she was thinking a lot. "You can still go to school." she told him. "Can't you..forge your dad's signature or something?" she asked.

"Probably." Aiden licked his lips. "Would it be bad if I did something like that? Just send dismissal forms to my old school, and I can go to the high school in this town and enroll..." The more he thought about it, the better it all sounded to him.

"I mean..you're not supposed to." she bit her lip. "But if it's important to do this, than I don't see why not." she explained. "Do you need to go to your old school and get the forms?" she asked.

Aiden nodded. "Would you tell anyone if I did it?" He just came up with this plan with a complete stranger who could possibly be a secret undercover cop and could send him into some juvenile school for saying all of this.

"No, no of course not." she told him, reassuring that it was safe to tell her. She bit her lip. "I would even drive you there, if you really need to go." she explained. Maybe that was pushing it too far though.
