Aiden paused. She seemed trustworthy, right? She didn't seem like the type to wake him up in the middle of the night drunk, just to punch him. He knew he was taking a risk with this, but he felt some sort of connection. "If you say so." He slightly smiled.

"I say so." She grinned. She walked back into her house and looked in the closet for a blowup mattress. She blew it up and put it on the floor. Then she grabbed some blankets, and set them on top. "I hope that's okay." she told him. "I don't know how comfortable these things are." she laughed. She was happy he agreed to stay rather than sleep on the ground. But, she was really curious what his story was.

"It's more than okay." Aiden smiled, sitting down ontop of all of the blankets. "Thank you, so much. You really don't know how much this means." He whispered, lowering his voice.

"Of course." she told him. "And you're welcome." she smiled. Her stomach growled, then. "Are you hungry?" she asked him. "I haven't eaten dinner yet, and it's kind of late."

"Uh," Aiden paused, trying to determine if he was hungry or not. At home, he ate whatever was thrown at him. He felt so different here, and so out of place. "A little, I guess. But if you're not eating, don't bother caring for me. I don't want to make this any more difficult for you than I already have." He frowned.

"You're not making it difficult!" She reassured him. "I'm starving so I'm just gonna make something." she told him and went into the kitchen and made her special mac and cheese. It was mac and cheese, with bacon, and it was delicious. Plus, She was craving it for some reason. She put out two bowls and filled them. she walked over to Aiden and handed him the bowl and his spoon. "Here you go. This is seriously my favorite food." she laughed, hoping he'd like it.

"Thank you." He said. The smell reached his nose, and he couldn't help but smile. It smelled so good, and he wasn't sure if it was because he hadn't eaten anything all day and he was starving, or if it was a good meal. "You didn't...poison this...did you?" He put some on his spoon and held it up to his mouth.

Charlie thought that question was a bit odd. He definitely came from an interesting place. "Of course not." she told him. "Why?" she had to ask. That was too weird of a question.

"My dad-" Aiden caught himself before he spoke any other words. He looked around the room, trying to change the topic, and shoveled a spoonful of mac&cheese into his mouth. "This is really good! You gotta give me this recipe!"

Charlie was really confused, to say the least. She had no idea what was happening. One second he was mentioning his dad, and the next he was shoving mac & cheese in his mouth. Charlie wanted to ask, but thought it'd be too personal for two people who just met. "Thanks.." she said. "I will. It's super easy." she told him and took a bit of her mac & cheese as well. The room was silent, probably because no one knew what to say after that. "So what about school?" she asked him. "What are you gonna do about that?"

"The easier the better." Aiden smiled, thankful she didn't ask about his dad. "School?" He stopped chewing for a second to think about it. "I'll have to call my old school, transfer to this one, do something about it all. Is this a good school?" He questioned, trying to keep the conversation going.

"Sounds complicated." she sighed. "But, yeah. It's a pretty good school." she grinned, she didn't really want to mention the stuck up people. Just because she had a bad experience at school, didn't mean he would too. "The teacher's are really laid back." she told him.

Aiden nodded his head slightly. "It sounds like a good school to me. I'm sure it shouldn't be a big deal to transfer." He shrugged, knowing it would be a huge deal. You needed your parent's permission to leave a school, and it wouldn't exactly by easy with his dad.

"Hopefully it won't be." she told him. He was really...secretive. Almost like he didn't say what was on his mind, and instead covered it up with lies. "You sure your..family will be okay with it?" she asked.

"No," He started out. "But I'll work it out." He looked around. "Maybe." He imagined every situation possible that could work out. He could ask his dad for permission, and his dad could say yes. Or he could say no. Or he could kill Aiden. Aiden shivered at the thought, and completely zoned out of everything.
