The annual town carnival had come to town, and today was the first day that it was open. Sienna had wasted no time in getting down to the carnival. In fact, she now stood in front of the Ferris wheel, an ice coffee in one hand and her cell phone in the other. She had sent out a text to several friends, inviting them all to come join her at the carnival. However, the main two she was waiting to hear from were Charlie and Ellie. She was excited to spend the day with both of them.
But, unfortunately, they weren't here yet, which just meant that Sienna had to wait. Luckily, she had caught sight of her best friend's bother, and he had stopped to talk so that she wouldn't have to wait alone. To Sienna, nothing was worse than having to wait alone, even if Ellie and Charlie were both on their way. Hopefully they would get there soon so that she wouldn't have to wait too long.
Sienna wore a lose white lace tank top over a darker cami. Short denim shorts were on her legs, with a pair of flip flops. And, one of her favorite large purses was dangling from her arm. She assumed that she wouldn't be too difficult to find. [/blockquote]

Outfits. One of the hardest things about being a girl. When receiving the text from Sienna about the carnival, Ellie was super excited. She texted back saying she'd definitely be there soon but when opening up her wardrobe, Ellie began to freak out. After almost 10 minutes just staring into the wardrobe she finally picked out an outfit. She went for a pretty basic look. A flow-y loose top with a pair of jeans and boots and a necklace to match. She threw her hair into a messy but stylish bun and she was out the door.
Ellie grabbed her phone out of her pocket when she got into the car and texted Sean asking him to come along. She really wanted him to meet her friends, especially Sienna.. now that they were a couple.. sorta. Ellie put her key into the ignition and reversed out of her drive way.
The drive was around 10 minutes. She would have been there much sooner but there was fair bit of traffic as a result of the carnival blocking off a few seats. Once she found a good park, she got out the car and went hunting for Sienna. Moments later, she found her standing in front of the Ferris wheel chatting up some guy. Classic. Ellie ran towards her and gave her a hug, yelling out her name when she got closer.

Sean received a text from Ellie asking him to go to a carnival with her. It sounded fun, so he couldn't object. He threw on a red polo, and slipped on sneakers as he left his house. He drove there in ten minutes, and it took longer for him to find Ellie.
But when he found her, instead of running up to her, he stopped dead in his tracks. Who was she standing with? It couldn't be her, she wasn't Ellie's type. Was she? He slowly approached them, not saying a word.

A loud yell from behind her caused Sienna to spin around immediately. "Ellie!" She giggled, throwing her arms around her friend in a hug. "I'm so glad you could make it!" Pulling back from the hug, she nodded at the boy next to her. "This is David, my friend." David nodded at Ellie, then mentioned that he should be going. Sienna just shrugged it off with a slight wave before turning back to her friend. "How are you? I haven't seen you in days! Did you ever find your-"
She cut herself short, the smile on her face quickly fading to a flat out glare as a boy approached them. "You-" The next words to come to mind weren't the nicest. So, before speaking, she made certain to filter her language a tad more. "What do you want? Obviously, ten minutes of my life wasn't enough time for you. I certainly hope that you came to apologize." She folded her arms stubbornly. Sienna certainly wasn't happy to see him after their encounter the other night. They hadn't exactly left on good terms. [/blockquote]

Ellie stood there feeling completely awkward. One minute, Sienna had been all smiles and grins then when Sean approached, she seemed.. angry with him?. Almost as if she knew him. Did she?. "Uh.. hang on, you two know each other?". You could see it all over her face. She did not like him, at all. "Sienna, this is Sean.. as in beach guy.."

"Wait, just hold on." Sean came closer to Ellie and The Princess as he had called her, but now he learned her name was Sienna. "I'm not here to apologize! You're the one that slapped me across the face!" Sean objected, completely shocked at how small of a world this really was.

Sienna blinked, glancing to Ellie for just a second. "You know him?" She paused, comprehending what Ellie said. "Wait, what? He's the beach guy that we spent like six hours on a beach trying to find? Seriously? Him? Of all the cute guys you choose him?" She trailed off, clearly frustrated with the situation. Glancing from her friend, to 'his royal highness' Sienna shook her head once more. "You asked for it! I don't slap innocent people! And, you do owe me an apology; you know that. At this point, I'll be nice and settle for 'I'm sorry I put my face in the way of your hand and then blamed you for slapping me.'" She couldn't believe that he was Sean the beach guy. Of all the people, Ellie had to choose him? [/blockquote]

No one was answering her questions and this was frustrating Ellie badly. "What happened?!" She almost yelled over the top of the two of them. She looked at Sienna, "Why did you slap him?". Ellie then flicked to Sean, "What'd you do?". This was so frustrating. There was nothing more Ellie wanted than for the two of them to get along!

"I didn't do a single thing!" Sean shouted, sort of loudly. "I just went to that night club, and sat on an open couch. When Miss. Princess over here was practically eating her boyfriend's face. He left, and she gave me an attitude, so I gave her one right back! And of course I wasn't going to hit a girl...so she slapped me!" He said, getting frustrated.

"Bull crap!" Sienna snapped back. "I was at the night club at this ay-mazing party with my... boyfriend, when his royal highness showed up. My boyfriend went to the bar to get more drinks and he just decided to harass me. Then, he got mad because he couldn't come up with any good comebacks. I felt bad, so when he asked me to slap him, I figured that I might as well help him with one of his goals." Sienna shrugged, casting another glare at Sean. [/blockquote]

Ellie sighed. "Look, both of you are giving me different answers. Neither of you are gonna admit to which one is twisting the story so can we please just move past it?" She said. "You had a bad introduction but please, it'd mean a lot to me if you two could get to know each other and move past it."

"I'm not too sure how I could move past this." Sean said, looking up and down at Sienna. "I mean, she practically scarred me for life." He said, pressing his fingers against his cheek. "She needs to apologize first."

(I'm just gonna post cause Sienna's not on at the moment) Ellie found herself mad at both Sean and Sienna. This was supposed to be her first date with Sean, and he and Sienna were both just being immature. "Well, find me later. Once you two children learn to grow up.". And with that, she walked away. Not really sure where she was going. She hoped that she would see Jersey or Charlie around somewhere.

(Okay!)
Sean stood there, feeling guilty about the whole thing. This wasn't turning out to be a good first date. He didn't like seeing Ellie mad, but he couldn't apologize to Sienna, not after what she did. They stood facing each other, not speaking. "Listen, for Ellie's sake, can we just stop arguing?" Sean asked. "I hate seeing her upset like this." He turned towards Sienna for an answer. "We don't have to be friends, but can we just stop screaming at each other?"

Sienna starred after Ellie, shaking her head. Why couldn't she understand that she would never get along with Sean? Her gaze only shifted back to Sean as he spoke, a rather icy glare on her face. She pressed her lips firmly together now. "Not until you apologize." She didn't mind being difficult; how could she let her friend be with a guy who was so... well, Sean? Ellie was blinded by love, but Sienna fully intended to put a halt on that. Ellie would get over it. [/blockquote]
