"Barely." Alex admitted. It seemed like they were trying to avoid what happened. Alex sighed. "Thanks for letting us stay here though." he said. "I just feel like this is all a dream and we're gonna wake up and everything's fine." he explained.

Sophia needed to know how her friends were dealing with the loss. The guilt was eating her alive so she had to go and see them. She'd over heard that they were all staying at Jordan's. Tying her hair up into a messy bun, dressed in pink jeans and a white lace top, Sophia went down to Starbucks and bought the group all ll some Starbucks coffees then ventured to Jordan's place. More than likely, her friends hated Sophia because she looked like Ellie.. because she was Ellie.
Three knocks was all it took for Jordan to open the door. She let out a half smile, "I got you guys coffees. Just incase you wanted them. They're very comforting.". Jordan let her in, probably reluctantly and she placed the coffee tray on his kitchen bench. She looked at Alex and Chris who were sitting at the table eating breakfast. "H-How are you feeling this morning?" Sophia sighed.

Alex almost choked on his food when Sophia walked in. She just looked too much like Ellie for him to handle. But he had to know that it wasn't her fault that she looked just like her, that wouldn't be fair. "I'm pretty sure we all could be doing better, but okay considering.." he told her.

She frowned and nodded her head, understanding. Jordan was walking past her to go to the bathroom and coincidently knocked her bag off the counter. Sophia was leaning down to get it when she felt her top raise up ever so slightly. She quickly grabbed the big and stood back upright, realising that the tattoo on her lower back could have been exposed. It was something she had gotten done after her dad died. It was the date of his death and Alex and Sean were the only two that knew of it. If Alex had seen it, he'd know it was her and she'd be caught out. Jordan came out and grabbed one of the coffees from the counter. "Thanks for this." Jordan said to her. She nodded. "Is Charlie not with you guys?" She asked, surprised and worried of Charlie being on her own.

"Yeah, thank you. That was nice of you." he tried to smile and took a sip of the coffee. When Sophia asked him about Charlie, he sighed. "No, she's here." he told her. "She's still in the room. She won't come out." he explained to her. He hadn't even heard a peep from her once this morning.

Sophia looked over towards Jordan's closed bedroom door and frowned. "Oh..". She wanted to go in and speak to her, and tell her that it would be okay. She took a sip of her coffee and then look back at the group. "I'm thinking abut leaving town for a while. I mean, who's gonna want me around here now when I look like her?" She looked at the ground. Sophia grabbed her bag and slung it over her shoulder. "Tell Charlie I said that I hope she feels better.". And with that, Sophia left the apartment. She felt sad. Now that Ellie was dead, they definitely wanted nothing to do with her. It was the point.. kind of but Sophia was all alone and no one was going to go anywhere near her.

Alex looked at Chris and Jordan who were kind of confused by Sophia's random appearance. "We will." Jordan said speaking about Charlie. She walked out looking really sad, and Alex felt bad for her. He ran after her. "Hey, no you shouldn't leave town. I mean, even though you look like her..that doesn't mean you're the same person. People will get past the exterior, and you'll be known as Sophia..not the girl who looks like Ellie." he explained trying to smile again.

She sighed and shook her head. Alex was sweet. "I won't. Now that she's died.. to everyone in this town, I'll be the girl that looks like the one that died.. especially to you and your friends.". "But it doesn't matter. Don't worry about me, you just lost your friend. You've got bigger issues to deal with.." She said playing with her thumbs.

"Okay, well maybe for a few weeks or so..." he admitted. "And I know it's gonna be hard for us to get through..but we will. And treating you differently because you look like her, isn't fair. It will take getting used to.." he once again admitted. "My friends are great. You should give them a chance. You'll see why Ellie loved them so much." he said. When he said that, it hurt.

She smiled a little. "I don't doubt that.. they seem great..". They were amazing. Sophia could see that Alex was hurting. Could she tell them the truth?. She'd faked her own death mainly to get the stalker away.. so now that he/she thought she were dead.. it may be safe to tell her friends as long as they acted as if Sophia was Sophia. She took the plunge. "..What if I told you that she wasn't actually dead?" "Instead, that she had someone out their trying to kill her. The same person that killed her father. That person was threatening to kill her friends friends off by one by one so she ran from them to keep them safe. She hide for two months but was tired of running. She wanted to come home and know that her loved ones were safe so.. she cut her hair, got caramel streaks and got all the legal documents to go under someone else's names.". He stood frozen in front of her. She was unsure if she was taking in what she said. "What if she faked her death so that she knew that she could be close to her friends without having to worry about their safety but she couldn't bare to let her friends think she was dead.." "What if I told you she was standing right in front of you, would you believe me?". She raised her shirt at the back at bit, exposing her tattoo that she had told Alex about just before she left town. The date of her dad's death. It was Ellie and she hoped he would believe her.

"I would think that you were playing a sick joke on us.." he let out, but continued to listen to her. Alex's thoughts were all over the place. Ellie was claimed dead last night, but here she stood in front of him. He listened to everything she had to say, and when she showed him the tattoo, he knew it was her. Sophia wouldn't know that Ellie had the tattoo of her father's death. He didn't say a word after she told him, he just hugged her and felt oddly relieved. "Why didn't you just tell us sooner?" he asked.

"Because it wasn't safe. For me to even be here, I was bringing great danger upon you guys. If this.. person followed me back here and saw that I was this completely other person, I hoped that he would at least not go near any of you." She sighed. "The death.. it was so he'd think I was gone and stay the hell away from Kingswood.. and I thought it'd bring you closure.." Ellie said, unable to look him in the eyes. "Everything I did was to keep you and everyone I care about safe."

"You thought it would bring us closure?" he said, now a little frustrated. He didn't raise him voice, and he definitely didn't want her to think he was mad, but how could she think this? "I could barely breathe when i heard the news, Chris is a mess and Charlie hasn't even spoken to anyone this morning." he explained. He stopped talking when he realized what he said probably hurt. "I'm sorry..we just, we thought we lost someone who means the world to us." he added. "Have you heard from that guy?" he asked, trying to avoid what he just said.

Ellie flinched away a bit. She could tell that he was mad at her.. she had expected that kind of reaction. Why couldn't he understand that she hadn't meant to hurt him or any of her friends? Ellie was protecting them. Hurt and guilt washed over her when he spoke of how it had hurt her friends. She didn't think that they would react that badly to it. He asked if he'd heard from the guy and she just shook her head to say no, not daring to speak.

Alex noticed Ellie didn't say a word and instantly wished he could take back what he said. "Look, I didn't mean it like that.." he paused and grabbed her hand. "But losing you was the worst thing that has ever happened to me." he told her. "I'm so happy you're back..I was just confused.." he explained. Hopefully she'd understand how he felt.
