Ellie smiled, "Its alright. I've made my peace with it.". She nodded along with what Charlie was saying. "I think it suits me better too. Thanks." She laughed.

"You're welcome!" Charlie smiled. "So before I ran into you, what were you doing?" Charlie asked, trying to make conversation. [/blockquote]

"Not a lot really. Just going for a walk. My sister has her friends over at our house and its just so noisy right now. Had to get out." She smiled.

"Sounds like a younger sister!" Charlie laughed a little. "Am I right?" [/blockquote]

She laughed, "Not too much younger. She's fifteen but she acts like she's about seven."

"Oh i see!" Charlie laughed. "My little brother's thirteen, but he acts so much younger, too." Charlie explained. "So how long have you lived here?" Charlie asked. She wasn't sure what she thought about this town yet. [/blockquote]

"I moved over here when I was 10, so about seven years now." Ellie smiled. "What are your thoughts so far?". She could see straight away by the look on her face that Charlie was.. unsure about this place. It was the same face many people had when they first move to Kingswood. "It's a pretty.. odd place, huh?" She said with a slight chuckle.

"Oh wow, so you've been here for awhile. Did you like it when you first moved here?" Charlie asked, & when Ellie asked her how she liked Kingswood, she was a little unsure. "Uhm, it's not that it's an odd place, it's just a little different ." She explained. "Or just different than what I'm used to." [/blockquote]

"Um, yeah. But I was only really young so all the sort of partying and all that wasn't an issue. So by the time I got to this age with all the partying.. I'm used to it. It's always been around me.". Ellie felt sorry for this girl. She obviously seemed uncomfortable with all of it. "A lot of people feel odd when they first get here then they sorta just.. give in to the peer pressure of it all. It's awful."

"Yeah, well I mean it makes sense that you'd get used to it. Y'know being here so long." Charlie explained. "But why give into the peer pressure? I mean is it because there's nothing else to do?" She asked Ellie. [/blockquote]

Ellie shrugged, "Nah, it's just that partying, drinking, sex and all that jazz is like an 'in' thing here and if you're not doing it, there's a lot of real bitchy people that can look down on you for it. But, if you're a strong willed person, you'll be fine." She told her, "Like, I'm not really into that. I mean most girls I know have lost their virginities to some random in a bar but I don't wanna do that. I do go to parties, and have a bit to drink but I rarely ever go over the top with it and honestly, I don't mind what that makes people think of me so as long as you don't either, like I said, you'll be fine."

"Yeah, I was going to say that you definitely did not seem like the big 'party' type." Charlie said to her. "Ew. No, why would anyone want to do that? I mean, they're a completely stranger. Isn't it called 'making love' for a reason?" What Ellie said kind of surprised Charlie. Seems that this town was crazier than she thought. "Well, thanks. I'll try my best." She grinned. [/blockquote]

"Ew. No, why would anyone want to do that? I mean, they're a completely stranger. Isn't it called 'making love' for a reason?" Ellie completely agreed. She'd always wanted her first time to be with someone that she truly cared about and not someone that's just gonna forget her name the next day. She didn't see the attraction in it.. at all. But, she knew many people that did and she'd never judge them for it. "Honestly, I think people.. girls especially just like the attention they're getting from guys so they just give them.. everything they want." She sighed.

Charlie nodded. "Completely agree. Which is sad. My best friend back home, had a crush on a guy in 7th grade, in tenth grade, she apparently looked more desirable? So about a year ago, she was still totally in love with him..and gave him everything." She sighed. "He spread it all around the school, and she, obviously regretted it." Charlie explained. Sad Story. Ellie sighed. "It's so sad hearing about stories like that." "I think the worst part is, a lot of girls think it actually is what they want but in reality they're just so sucked in by what peers are pressuring them to want to do that once they actually do it.. they realise they never wanted to in the first place but there's no way to take it back.". This was a big reason on why Ellie was so worried about it. She didn't want to give a guy.. everything and have it come back and bite her on the ass.
