"Yeah, it definitely did suck." Charlie told him. "You know, I'm still trying to figure out what they were thinking. Either they completely don't know about this town, or they're trying to torture me." Charlie explained. Charlie felt kind of bad for lying, but if they thought she was a goody goody, she'd most likely have to give in. But if people thought she drank, well, then there'd be no reason to. [/blockquote]

"More than likely, they didn't know. For some reason, Kingswood has this high reputation just cause a lot of rich families live here but then you come here and it's the complete opposite.. as you'd now know. I bet if you really don't like it here, just tell your parents to come visit. They'd have you home in a second I'll bet." [/size]

"Yeah, my grandparents live here. It definitely doesn't make sense that they live here, out of all the places." Charlie said. This was just all way too confusing. "I would, but i don't even have a phone. Plus, they wouldn't believe me. They're that strict." Charlie explained. "But enough about me..i'm guessing you are into the party stuff?" She asked, it seemed pretty obvious, but she rather the conversation be about him than her. [/blockquote]

"They may not be as.. in touch with what happens with teenagers?". She turned the conversation around to him. He cleared his throat, "Well, I'm Jordan by the way." He said, incase he hadn't already said so, "And yeah, I tend to party.. a lot. More than I should. But that's not an usual thing about here." He said with a smile. [/size]

Charlie was so caught up in the conversation, that she didn't even realize they never exchanged names. "Nice to officially meet you, I'm Charlie." She smiled and continued listening to him. "Yeah, around here I guess it's pretty normal." "How long have you lived here?" She asked. [/blockquote]

Jordan was about to answer when the teacher coughed and told them to keep it down. "I was born here. So, all my life." He said, more quietly then they had been speaking before. "It kind of explains why I'm so into partying. I grew up with it all around me. How could I not be persuaded by that y'know?"

Charlie imagined living here all her life, you must get sucked into everything somehow. "That makes a lot more sense." She told him. He seemed like a well thought out guy, not some random guy who gets hammered. "I mean, normally people say it's who you surround yourself with, but I guess if all your surrounded by is this , it can definitely affect a person." [/blockquote]

"I'd say it's pretty hard for anyone who grew up here, around this, to not get persuaded into it. I mean, like, whatever you do, it's around you.". Jordan bit his lip. "I reckon, if I wasn't all surrounded by this.. I wouldn't be such a drink crazy party boy. Cause underneath that I'm a pretty average guy.. I don't know.". He was definitely rambling now. [/size]

"That must have been tough." She told him. Charlie listened to him ramble, and she had to admit it was kind of cute. Normally it was her going on and on. "Hey, it's all you've been around. Don't beat yourself up." charlie said. "I can definitely see that." She smiled. [/blockquote]

"Really?" Jordan said, with a smile, "Most girls just see me as a straight party boy and that's what they judge me as. That underneath.. there's nothing when really, there is more to me than alcohol, partying and girls." He laughed. [/size]

"Really." Charlie smiled again. "There's always something more to someone than people realize." She explained. "Well I''m sorry you've been known as that guys.." She bit her lip and picked up her pencil to doodle some lyrics that came to mind. She genuinely felt bad for Jordan. [/blockquote]

He shrugged his shoulders. "It's my own fault. I've made myself gain that reputation around here. Guess I've just gotta live with it.". [/size]

"But wait-If everyone's got that same reputation, what's so bad about your's?" She asked him. Now, she was even more curious. How could you get much worse than the majority of people in this town? [/blockquote]

He began to choak up. "I-uh-I've made some bad choices.. especially when it comes to girls. And here, do one or two bad things, the next day everyone knows and before you know it you've got that rep for life." [/size]

When he said he made bad choices, with girls, it was obvious what he was talking about. I tried to ignore that part of it. "That's dumb. I'm sure people here have made those mistakes, if not worse." She bit her lip. She also did that when she was nervous. "But once again, I'm sorry. That's really not fair." [/blockquote]
