Victoria walked away in a huff and Ellie brought her drink to her mouth. "I'm surprised in you." She said as she put it back in its original spot, the sound of the cup hitting the table ringing loudly in an almost empty room. "I thought you see through girls like that.". He raised his eyebrows. "Girls that are only interested in getting in your pants." Ellie explained.

"What?" Sean asked, listening to Ellie as she spoke. Sean looked back to the girl who walked away defeated. "She does?" He scrunched his face up, not really that interested in her, but interested in Ellie's jealousy.

He seemed.. intrigued by it. "You got at least try to hide your interest in her. It's very distasteful." Ellie told him. Her eyes flickered out towards the window annoyed at the whole situation. When she glanced back towards him it looked like he was fighting the urge to smile. "..what?"

"You're just jealous." He mumbled under his breath, trying his hardest not to laugh. He looked up at Ellie and saw that she was staring directly at Sean. "Hm? Nothing. New topic?" He raised his eyebrows, trying his hardest to stray away from the situation.

Ellie's jaw dropped a bit when he mumbled under his breathe something about Ellie being jealous. "Jealous of you and that tramp? No way. I'm just trying to help you out before she takes your virtue and you come crying to Charlie about how you thought it was real love." She said matter of fact-ly. Ellie was obviously in denial. She was totally and completely jealous.

"I don't want to do anything with her." Sean spat out, giving Ellie the same tone of voice that she was giving him. "I don't even know her." He turned around to get another look at the girl, and then quickly looked back to Ellie.

That was when Ellie realised that jealousy had possibly clouded her judgement and she instantly feel guilty. Taking the last sip of her coffee before throwing it in the bin, she avoided eye contact with Sean. It began to rain. She could hear the tapping of the raindrops on the roof. Her eyes stayed focused on what was happening outside. "Charlie will be happy you're back. She missed you. Well.. We all did.." She trailed off.

Sean watched Ellie's movements and studied her face carefully. Sean was around her enough to know her expressions most of the time and figure out what she was thinking, but it was getting harder and harder. She stopped talking about Victoria completely, and watched the rain outside. "I missed all of you too. That's why I came back." He whispered, looking down at the tile designs on the floor.

Her eyes went back to Sean but he was looking towards the floor. The awkwardness between the pair was unbearable. "I..I should probably head off then.". Honestly, she didn't want to leave but the awkwardness was just too much.

Sean looked up feeling hurt. He just got back, and she already wanted to leave. It was clear that she didn't want anything to do with him anymore. "If you have to..." His voice faded away, a knot tying in his stomach.

Silently getting up she just nodded. Ellie went to the counter before she left and order another drink which Victoria hesitantly went and got. Her eyes flickered back over to Sean but then back to Victoria. She payed for the drink and grabbed the coffee. Ellie headed for the door, ready to leave but didn't go. Walking back to Sean, she sighed, "I don't want it to be like this. The awkwardness.. the weird tension acting like we don't care when we both totally do thing.. it's not me. I don't like it." She blurted out. Too much caffeine.

Sean watched Ellie leave. She just got up and left as if it was no big deal. She ordered another drink as if the drink would make her forget everything that went on between them. Just as she was about to walk out the door, she came back. Sean listened to her carefully, and couldn't help but let a small smile appear on his face. "I don't want it to be like this either." He said, just as quickly as her. "Really." He whispered.

"T-Then what do we do? To make this.. okay?" She asked. "Do we like, take a break from each other. Just not be around each other until the awkwardness fades?"

"No!" Sean blurted out, feeling like an idiot. "I don't want to take a break...from each other." He swallowed hard, looking down at his fingers, and then back up at her. "I think if we take a break from each other...when we start talking to each other again, it would just be more awkward." He frowned, hoping she would agree.

Her lips turned up slightly towards a smile when he said that he didn't want to take a break from each other. Ellie took a seat again and look at him, "If that's so. What do you think we should do?"
