Ellie laughed a bit. "I don't want you to go.." She admitted. None of Charlie's friend minded what Victoria did to them, only what she did to Charlie. "I'll miss you lots."

"I mean, I don't want to, but I think i need to." she told her. "You'll be fine. You've got Alex." she smiled. "And I'm pretty positive that you won't have to deal with Tiffany or Vic anymore, cause they'll have no reason to mess with you." "But i'll miss you too." she frowned a bit.

She shook her head. "I could have all the guys in the world and that wouldn't make up for my best friend being missing." Ellie said, being completely honest. "Besides, none of us even care what Tiffany and Vic do to us! It's only what they do to you that we're worried about."

"Aw!" Charlie smiled and hugged her best friend. "Okay, but even if you look at it like that..they're pretty horrible. And i care about you guys..and if my friends are gonna get hurt, just because they hate me, then I'm gonna do what's best for them." she explained. She didn't wanna just abandon them, but she honestly thought it was the best thing to do right now.

Jade walked into homecoming, alone, dateless. If she was being honest she had high hopes that Sean would ask her to go with him... but it never happened. Since he and Ellie had broken up he hadn't really shown an interest in her at all. Had he listened to the rumours?. They spoke of Jade being a home wrecker who was part of Ellie's reasoning to break it off with Sean.
Jade had witnessed the whole throwing the punch on Charlie 'accident' so she followed Ellie and Charlie in the bathroom. Charlie had tears in her eyes and her beautiful dress was ruined. "Oh Charlie.." She breathed out, "I'm so sorry."

Moments later, Jade entered the bathroom. Ellie rolled her eyes. This bitch. "We'll talk about this later, okay?" She said towards Charlie. She nodded her head and Ellie left, walking back towards where the dance was held. There was no way she was going to be in the room with Jade. She did not like Jade.
"Hey you." A familiar voice said from behind her as Ellie was walking over to Alex who was standing by the fondue foundation. She turned around to see James Martin standing in front of her. Wow, he scrubbed up well. He seemed reluctant to be there, as if he was ready to bolt any moment. "Look, I know you hate me right now for what I did and I get it but yo-". She cut him off with a shake of her head and smile across her face. "You made a mistake. The past is the past. Let's just move past it okay?" Ellie said. A huge grin grew across his face as she said those words and he leaned down so that he could hug her tightly. She took his hand, "There's someone I want you to meet.". She lead him over towards Alex and said "James, this is my.. friend Alex. Alex, James." Ellie introduced them.

Charlie knew Ellie didn't like Jade..but she honestly did nothing wrong, so she didn't understand why. Charlie took a deep breathe. "No, no it's okay. I'm fine." she fake smiled a bit. "Girls will be girls, and victoria will be victoria. It's just how it goes.." she bit her lip. Charlie noticed that Jade looked a little down. "Are you okay?" she asked her.

Alex put down his punch and shook his hand. "Nice to meet you, man." he put his hand out, to shake it. "You're a good friend of Ellie's?" he asked. Alex hadn't seen him around, but he obviously went to this school.

"Yeah, I just started going here a few weeks ago." he mentioned. "So that would make sense." he laughed. "So is your date here?" he asked, trying to make conversation.
