(hahah i don't even remember! i actually think i might have just assumed that haha )
When Jake talked about homeschooling, and his friends, everything made a lot more sense. "Oh, i see." "Well, I guess here's a chance to make new friends." she smiled at him. He would have no problem making friends. He seemed like the most likable guy ever. "So who are your friends around here?" he asked. "I might have met them." she added. "I get what you mean by smaller..but peaceful, i'm not quite sure." she told him. After all the drama she's been through, it seemed like the least peaceful place.

"Exactly." He smiled. "Most of them are older, I think they are in college or just starting college. I think one of my closest friends is Mark White. He just graduated, do you know him?" He asked her. He laughed when she said it isn't peaceful. He hasn't had any drama whatsoever, probably because he hasn't gone to school. "A lot of drama?" He asked. He never understands how girls can get into so much drama.

"I don't." she answered. "I only know some people from high school and just around town." she explained. "That's nice that your friends are older, though." she smiled. "They're a lot more mature." Jake asked Charlie about drama, and she but her lip. "Uhh..unfortunately." she admitted. "Just mean girls being..mean." she said. Charlie didn't want him to know all about the drama..so she explained it vaguely.

"Yeah, it is nice. But it's going to be nice to have friends my age too, who I can relate to. You know?" He said. "I see that kind of 'mean girl' drama on tv all the time, I guess I never knew it could be real.." He laughed a little. "Are you okay though? Nobody's hurting you right?" Jake asked.

"Yeah, I definitely understand that. The majority of my friends back home were older." Which is why I got in trouble she thought to herself. Charlie nodded her head. "I didn't think it could be real either." Jake asked her if she was alright, and Charlie couldn't help but smile cause he actually cared. "They did." she admitted. "But, I am now." she smiled a bit. "They give me a hard time. But girls will be girls, and girls who like boys who like someone else will be jealous." she explained and took another bite of her cheescake.
