[Be Prepared]

During the conflict between Simba and his evil uncle Scar, the young lion offered his uncle a choice. He told him to run away and never return, Scar took his advice. The Red King fled from the Pride Lands without giving it much thought at least at the time. All he was concerned for was his own safety and life, and so the Pride Lands got a new King. Rain fell and thunder roared above the lands, the signal for the beginning of the wet season. Queen Zira and her lionesses had been away during the final conflict, out hunting for food to feed their cubs and King. Upon returning the Queen saw and smelled the fight, the blood that drained into the earth. The Outsiders ran for home, desperate to find Scar. However, the Queen never did find her King at least not during this night. Instead she found a blood stain and a new young male that took away her husbands throne. Immediately she challenged Simba and his entire pride, but soon realized how outnumbered she was. Humbling herself Zira tried her best to appease this new King, and with his permission she and her lionesses went to collect their cubs. Nala warned her mate to exile them, that they were just as evil as Scar was.

Simba ignored her suggestion and told Zira she was welcome here as long as she followed his law. The Red Queen agreed to this at least for the time being. Peace came to the Pride Lands, within a few months the new royal couple produced a heir to the throne. A single male cub by the name of Kopa. Scar had never resurfaced and so the pride relaxed, and eventually Simba desired to visit the jungle where Timon and Pumbaa were living. He left the Pride lands in the secure paws of his mate and wife Nala. The young King told her he'd be back within a month, and so he disappeared.

A few days have passed and life has remained peaceful. Many of the lionesses are now giving birth, and the Pridelands are now filling to brim with young life. Will things remain peaceful now that the Pride Lands has no King?
