Ellie laughed as the class shuffled out of room. It was now lunch time. The group split up to put their things away in their lockers before meeting at their usual table with their trays of food. "How good was Jordan's audition?" Ellie said to Charlie and she took a seat across from her. "I never would have expected it from him!"

Charlie nodded her head in agreement. "I have NO idea where that came from. I think he's gonna get the part." she admitted, sadly. "I mean, our teacher seemed pretty impressed."

Ellie nodded along with Charlie as she ate her food. For the first time in a long time, She was starved. Charlie watched on approvingly as she ate her food and Ellie couldn't help but let out a slight laugh. Both girls' attention went to the doors as the basketball team walked in. "Isn't that the guy from the pizza place?" Ellie said, noticing a newbie standing in the group. He seemed to fit in well with them. "He's on the team now?". She looked back at her friend who was sitting across from her. "How's it going with him?" She smirked.

Charlie took a sip of her water, and became suspicious of Ellie. She hadn't touched her food. She bit her lip about to say something when Ellie mentioned 'the boy from the pizza place' "Jake?" she asked her, and looked over to where he was. He was right in the middle with Jordan and the co-captain. "I guess he is.." she mumbled. Charlie was happy that he made the team, but him close with those people..that was just bad news. Charlie blushed and looked down when she asked how it was going with him. "He's really sweet." she smiled. "And he's just not a typical, dumb boy." she admitted. "But i don't know if it will go anywhere.." she admitted, although she hoped it would.

It was a strange sight to see Jake and Jordan getting along. Did Jordan know that Jake was a threat to winning over Charlie? Ellie guessed he didn't. She looked back over at her friend and smiled as she spoke about this possible new love interest. "Go and ask him out then! You're a strong woman, don't wait around for him. If you want something to happen, go for it!"

"Nooooo, no way!" she told her friend. "You have lost your marbles Ellie, there's no way I could do that." she said. "Especially right now.." she said nodding her head towards Jake & Jordan. "He's busy."

Ellie narrowed her eyes. "If anything that's more the reason! It's a massive 'f you look at what you lost to Jordan." She grinned. "You like him Charlie, you need to go for it."

Charlie laughed a bit. "That would be pretty great." she admitted. "But that might affect Jake. I mean I wouldn't want Jordan to hate him because of me.." "That could cost him even playing in the game. And basketball is his life." she explained.
