While it's hard to compare with the thrill of the back and forth of role-playing, it's also nice to take a break from it every once and awhile and work on your personal stories and poetry. As relaxing as the mere act of writing them may be, if you're like many of us, you can't help but want to share your creations with like-minded others who appreciate the literary arts.
IO (Inky Orchard) is a writing forum for moderate to advanced writers to share pieces they've created, bounce story ideas off of one another, and collaborate in group writing exercises. The staff are active and critical, meaning your work will be reviewed both promptly and in depth.
We're celebrating our first birthday in a little over a month. It's incredible to think that our site is almost a year old now. We're doing special contests, opening an Io themed art exhibition for the big day, and doing some good old-fashioned celebrating all around. Our activity level is at a high and now would be a great time to join.
And there's cake!
