Since everyone had found out that Sean was sick, it was as if all of his group had turned on Jade since Ellie had. They never spoke to Jade now. Not only was it just them, but the whole school. All throughout school everyone had turned on her. Rumours were spread throughout school that Jade was a 'home wrecking slut' as she'd gotten in the way of Sean and Ellie's relationship and no one wanted anything to do with her. The photos of Jade and Sean in Chemistry class that James had been sent around everywhere and they did look so much worse than what they were. Sure, Jade did have feelings for Sean but she had never spoken of them or acted on them in any way towards Sean.
Jade walked into the cafeteria and saw many pair of eyes stare back at her, looking disgusted. She shyed away from them trying to find a place to sit. There was no where. Jade threw down her try and went to the bathroom but in there it was just worse. Written on one of the walls was an abusive message about Jade. She felt tears form in her eyes when the door swung open. It was Charlie.

Charlie couldn't believe all of the abuse that Jade was getting. She opened the bathroom door, and saw Jade sitting there looking at a nasty message. She covered it up. "Jade, are you okay?" she asked her. Obviously she wasn't, because she was sitting in a bathroom stall, but she didn't know what else she could say right now.

She shook her head slowly, letting the tears roll down her face. "I like Sean, okay?" Jade finally admitted out loud to someone. She got up and walked towards the sink, leaning against it. "But I never did anything about it! I don't do that!" "And now people are blaming me for Ellie and Sean's break up and judging me when that's not even why they broke up. I-I don't understand how this happened."

When she confessed she liked Sean, Charlie was a bit surprised When did this happen? Where did this come from? "People are stupid." she told her. "They will spread rumors because they're too disinterested with their own lives." she explained, and handed a rolled up piece of toilet paper to Jade, so she could wipe her eyes. "As hard as it is, you just have to ignore the. I know how hard it is, though." she told her. "If it helps, I would never think you'd do that."

Jade took the toilet paper and gave a slight smile to Charlie. "Thanks for being so kind.". Her eyes eventually stopped filling with tears. "..I bet Sean hates me."

"Of course." she smiled. Charlie knew what it was like to feel like a complete outcast, and have a horrible rumor spread about you. "I doubt Sean hates you." she said, honestly. "You really didn't do anything. It's everyone else making up lies..he's way too smart to believe them." she told her. "But since we're being honest here, when did you start liking him?" she asked her.
