"Seriously. I guess we should have seen this coming..it is 2 months into the school year, right?" She looked over to the 'popular kids'. "And that's why they were being so brutal." "Charlie, you can't get a date blah blah blah." she imitated them. "Hey...but maybe this is your chance to spend more time with alex." she smirked.

Ellie laughed off the idea. "Have you not seen him? He'll have girls at their feet.". "I'll probably just skip it."

"No, I've seen him!". She told her friend. "Ellie, I saw you two together. He likes you a lot. And he's gonna ask you to homecoming." she grinned. "Unless James gets to you first.." she added. Honestly, she was surprised that James had not made a move. It's been about a few weeks since Sean and her broke up, and nothing? Charlie thought something must be up.

She rolled her eyes. "You must be seeing things.". Ellie doubted Alex would ask her to homecoming. She was set on the idea off skipping homecoming. "I bet James will end up asking you actually."

"I'm NOT seeing things!" she told her. "You just wait and see." "I'll be standing there saying, told ya so." she grinned. She knew for a fact that Alex and Ellie liked each other. Even if they only met once, there was definitely something there." when Ellie mentioned James, she laughed. "Ellie, you are too funny." she told her best friend. "I'm probably the least popular person in this school, thanks to them.." she nodded over to Jordan's group. Tiffany was bad but throw in Victoria, and it was a nightmare. She watched Victoria flirting this Jordan, and made up her mind that they'd Probably go to the dance together.

Ellie laughed once again. Charlie had such an imagination. They kiss once and she can see a whole romantic future planned out for them at homecoming. "I don't think James would care about them and what they have to say.". Ellie's eyes flicked over towards the group. "What do you think you'll do if Jordan goes with Tiffany?" She asked her reluctantly.

Charlie just shrugged a bit. "Maybe.." she paused. "I guess nothing. i mean, what can I do. He's no longer my boy..well, whatever he was." she said. "I guess I just have to move on. Cause I don't see the other Jordan coming back anytime soon." she sighed.

She sighed. Wishing that Charlie could see that Jordan was doing this just to get back at her and he still felt the same. "Maybe there is a way to bring him back.". She paused, "I don't know. Everything has triggers, right? Maybe there's something that can trigger him back to the way he was?"

Charlie thought about it, Ellie did have a point. "But what would trigger that?" she asked Ellie. She was so confused, and this was a lot more drama than she thought she was in for. But even if they weren't together, Charlie wanted Jordan back to the sweet guy he was. Not the douche he is now.

Taking a sip of her soda, she sighed. "You know him better than I do. Anything spring to mind? Something that will really hit him deep and bring him back?"

Looking back over at the girls tables, Victoria had a smile on her face. She walked back over to them briefly. "Oh, sorry, I forgot something.". Charlie grimaced whilst Victoria turned her attention to Ellie this time. "Jordan isn't the only ex I'm going for."

Victoria returned to her table and Ellie looked at Charlie. She could see that Charlie was about to reassure her that she was bluffing but she shook her head. "No, she's not. The other day at Starbucks we were there and she was all over Sean.. She had him reeling.". Ellie felt sick re thinking about it. Jumping up from the table, Ellie left her anger get the better of her. "You bitch. You really think you can just go up to us and try to torment us, especially Charlie. Pssht." She said to her. Victoria rolled her eyes and pushed Ellie away. Ellie pulled her hair and that was all it took. A full on physical fight between the girls started right smack bam in the middle of the cafeteria.

Before Charlie could answer Ellie, Victoria returned being annoying, once again. So victoria was now after Sean AND Jordan? "Wait so Sean's back??!" she asked totally confused, and wondering why she hadn't known this. Charlie sat, watching Ellie scream at Victoria, and she knew this was not going to end well. They got into a catfight, and Charlie shot up from her seat to try to stop it. Ellie was hanging onto Victoria's hair, and Victoria was scratching at Ellie's skin. Charlie was pretty small in size, but got in between them and tried to push them apart. "GUYS! STOP!" She screamed, which had the whole cafeteria silent. "Victoria- Go after Jordan all you want. But stay AWAY from Sean." she told her. "I don't want him to turn into what Jordan is..thanks to you. SO STOP." she yelled. She looked at the popular table, they were all rolling their eyes, but at this point Charlie could care less.

The fight had grabbed the attention of many people in its surroundings. As typical, the boys around them where cheering it on. Charlie somehow got into the middle of it and broke it apart. But it was too late, the fight had been reported to the teachers and both Victoria and Ellie were on their way to the principals office.
The principal was pretty low key and understanding about the whole situation towards Ellie. She figured that he knew of Victoria's outlandish past and that's why he let Ellie off the hook quite easily. All she got was that she had to leave school for the rest of the day and not return until the next day. Also, a phone call to home would go out. Yeah, to who? I've got no family. Ellie thought silently.
She exited the principals office to see that Charlie was standing outside waiting to see what had happened. "Well, I'm out for the rest of the day. Feel like ditching with me?". Ellie was aware that wasn't Charlie's thing so it wouldn't surprise her if she said no.

Normally Charlie wouldn't ditch, but today she really didn't care. "Yeah, I'll just say I feel sick, so i'll be excused." That wasn't entirely a lie. Charlie went to the nurses office, and the nurse gave her a pass to go home. Charlie came out of the office and walked over to Ellie. "So where should we go?" she asked.
