It was obvious to many that Jordan changed. He had an old reputation of being player, but now he was actually playing that part. And he didn't hide it at all. Charlie walked into the cafeteria with Ellie, and stopped when she saw Jordan surrounded by a bunch of girls. Soaking in the attention, no doubt. & Tiffany? she was right there with them. "I can't believe that's who he is now." Charlie said to Ellie, and sat down at the only table available. She wanted the sweet Jordan back, the one that she was falling for, but he was long gone.

Ellie sighed as she looked over at Jordan. This was much more like the old him that she used to know. "He's only doing that try and get back at you. He's trying to make it seem like he doesn't care that you rejected him because he has lots of girls after him. But really, he's hurting and this is how he acts." She rolled her eyes. Jordan was acting immature.

Charlie shook her head, and set her food on the table. "What's the point? Cause it's easier to get back at me by hooking up with random girls?" she bit her lip, and turned to look at him again. He looked like he was enjoying himself. She turned back to the table and pushed her food away, she wasn't hungry.

She shrugged her shoulders. "Boys are stupid and immature. They get hurt. They put up walls and act this way. Who knows why." Ellie said as she took a bite of her french fries.

' I know why ' is what Charlie thought to herself. "But do you think this is how he is now?" She looked back over to him. "Or do you think it's just a phase?"

Ellie took a bite of another chip, not really wanting to answer. "It could be a phase.. I don't really know." "But, the last time I saw him like this it lasted until.. well, he met you.."

Jordan Stetson, ultimate hottie was finally embracing his free spirit again. The way he was clung after that Charlie Hudson was so lame. All the cheerleaders, Victoria included, thought that Jordan became such a bore, wasting his time on that below average nobody. Now, he was right back on track.
Victoria and her best friend left the group of popular kids - the cheerleaders and the athletes that were surrounding Jordan - to approach the table that Charlie was sitting at with Ellie Mankelow. Taking a seat on either side of her, Victoria stared her down. "So, what's the deal? Lesbian or what?". Her friends giggled as did she. A confused look was returned to Victoria by Charlie. "Jordan Stetson outs his feelings for you in front of half the school and you say no? How gay are you."

When Ellie said that, she knew it would be a while before Jordan was back. She instantly felt guilty. "And once again..this is all my fault." she sighed. When the popular kids came up to the table, Charlie rolled her eyes, she couldn't believe that she had to even deal with these jerks. She looked up. "What the hell are you talking about?" She said. "Just because I don't worship the ground he walks on, like you guys do, does not mean i'm gay." she explained. "You don't even know what happened, so talk to someone else who will listen to your bull."

Victoria exchanged glances with her friend. Who did she think this girl was?. No one talks to the popular kids like that. "You don't need to know the full story, hon." Victoria simply stated. "He wanted you. You said no. What more is there to know? Your reasoning are irrelevant. A girl like you will never get a guy like him again."

"Why do you even care?" she asked Victoria. "I mean, really if you want Jordan that badly, go get him.." she told her. "But he's over there so I don't understand why you;re still standing here." she said, clearly pissed off. But when Victoria said that she would never get a guy like him again, it kind of hurt. She made a huge mistake.

Victoria rolled her eyes and returned to the group. Ellie took a sip of soda and placed it back on the table. "You okay?" She sighed. As if Charlie didn't feel bad enough, she didn't need Jordan's group giving her crap.

"I will be." she told Ellie. "I just don't get it. Why do they all care so much?" she asked. Charlie knew Ellie wouldn't know what to say, but Ellie knew this people better than she did.

Rolling her eyes, she sighed. "They thrive on this drama. Don't let it get to you. As much as it seems so, it's not personal. When they aren't getting the attention, they crack."

"Oh, so they're kind of all like Tiffany." she said and rolled her eyes, again. She was not looking forward to dealing with more people just like her. She thought tiffny was the worst one. She sighed, and looked across the cafeteria and saw someone hanging a poster. Homecoming. "Oh dear gosh this is a nightmare." she said and put her face on the table.

Ellie nodded, confirming her thoughts. She followed Charlie's gaze to see that Homecoming posters were being hung around the cafeteria and hall ways. Instantly the popular group were buzzing. A week ago Ellie would have been fine. She would have gone with Sean and it would be a great night now.. "This couldn't come at worst timing."
