Link had been enjoying his sunny Saturday and the heat was finally getting to him. He'd been working out in his family gym and after downing a few glasses of water he jogged to the local Pinkberry to have a little treat. Glistening with sweat, Link made his bowl of yogurt very carefully and dumped all sorts of toppings on it, including strawberries, oreos, and gummy worms. He couldn't wait to get a spoon and dig in. After paying, he sat down at an empty table in the store and wondered what his friends were doing today. Link had been out of touch for a little while. He needed to talk with someone. Savoring his yogurt, he looked over at the door when the bell jingled when it opened.

Charlie walked into Pinkberry more frustrated than ever. How is it possible to take drama, and make it ten times worse, just from one night? She walked into the frozen yogurt shop and got a berry yogurt, with oreos, gummy worms and some fruit. She needed some cheering up. She sat at a table alone, and stuck the spoon in her yogurt, a little lost in her thoughts.

Link had observed the girl as she walked in and got her yogurt. He tried his best not to stare, I mean, she was pretty but he wasn't a creep, nor was he that desperate. He noticed the toppings she'd chosen and thought, "Hey, we have similar taste." and when she sat down alone he decided to go over and talk to her. "Nice choice in yogurt," he said, smiling and showing her his partially-eaten bowl. "May I sit?" he asked.

Charlie was sitting there when a guy came up to her. "Oh, haha same flavor?" she asked. "Yeah, sure." she smiled. She needed to get her mind off of drama, so maybe talking to someone else would help. "I'm Charlie." she stuck out her hand. "You are?"

"Cool." he said, sitting down. "I'm Link," he introduced himself, shaking her hand and putting on a large smile. "Link Cresswell." He'd lived in the area all his life but at times he felt isolated from everyone and took long, extravagant vacations. He was surprised he still didn't know everyone, but he loved meeting new people. "You from around here?" he asked. Tourists appeared every so often.

"I like your name!" she told him. She liked unique names, it was a weird thing with her. "Yeah, I've been here for about a month." She told him. "What about you?

"Thanks! Yours is pretty cool as well, Charlie," he said, testing out the way it sounded off his tongue. "I've lived in Kingswood about, um, let's see, well, basically all my life. I've lived here forever. Never moved out of town." he said sheepishly, chuckling a little bit at the same time. "You like it here?"

"Thanks." she laughed. "It's much better than Charlotte." "Wow, that's a pretty long time. I bet you know everyone pretty well then, right?" she asked. "Lets just say..it's had it's ups and downs." she told Link, trying not to go into full detail.

"Most people. I know the people who have been here at least a couple years. Newer people and families I don't know as well, like you, and sometimes there are people I've always heard about but never even met- it's crazy." he said. "Ahh. Kingswood will do that to ya. Hopefully your downs haven't been too big of drops! Good times are definitely better."

"Ah, I see." she said and took a bite of her yogurt. "Who have you heard about, but never met?" she asked, intrigued. "So I've been told. But it seems like it's been a little more drama than It should be." she sighed.
