She bit her lip. They'd both admitted they loved each other in the worst situation. Without thinking, Ellie ran towards him to kiss him. It didn't really change how she felt about him or his situation with the sickness but just right in that moment, how could she not? "Sorry that was.. Bad.." She mumbled, pulling away.

Sean stood in shock when Ellie pressed her lips against his. "It...wasn't bad..." He blinked a few times, running his hand through his hair. "It wasn't bad at all."

"Yes, yes it was bad, Sean." She sighed. Ellie looked away, towards the rest of the city to avoid eye contact with him. What had just happened?. She was so stupid. He'd think more of it. "I-I just.. I don't know.. what to do..".

"You know what you want to do. And i know what I want to do. But we're just not letting it happen." He looked down at the sidewalk.

"But what if I'm just not sure what I actually want anymore? What if I don't know how I feel about anything anymore?" She shot back at him. Honestly, she wasn't even sure herself what she was saying. Ellie took a seat on the nearby bench and just stared at the ground, trying to figure out exactly what was going on with her.

"Then maybe me taking a break from that town is a good thing." Sean inhaled deeply, watching her move away from him and over to the bench.

Ellie shot a look towards him. "No, it's not. You leaving.. is never a good thing.". Ellie was so scared that once he went home, he'd never return to Kingswood. Knowing that, she acted impusively, pinning him against the wall and kissing his passionately as if this were the last time would ever see him because it just might be.

Sean practically gasped for air, fully confused about everything. "What are you doing?" He spat out, pressing his tongue against the back of his teeth. "You can't keep doing things like this." As much as he wanted to kiss her back, he felt hurt, and then in love, and then hurt, and then back to being normal.

She knew that Sean was right but she couldn't help but feel a little rejection as he pushed Ellie away from him. "Fine." She said, simply. She turned away so that she wasn't holding eye contact with him.

"Stop," He walked around her to face her. "That's not what I meant!" He said, getting frustrated. "I just mean you can't keep saying you want to be with me, and then say you can't. I know you change your mind alot, I do too. Everyone does. But if your mind is telling you one thing, and your heart is telling you another, you need to listen to your heart, no matter how many times your mind changes whatever it's thinking of." He blurted out something that he tried to make sound good.

"My mind and my heart are telling me the same thing.. but then in the back of my mind, I know that it's not right." She told him. "This isn't right. Us isn't right. You need to get better. You should be concerned about what is going on between us."

"Us is right!" Sean protested. "I can't get better if I am worrying about us! If we're not together, I'm worrying about you all the time. I'm always wondering what you're doing, and how you're feeling. I can't just pretend like nothing ever happened!" He frowned.
