Charlie bit her lip, he sounded unsure of his decision. "Well..remember, I'm right next door. If you need anything, we'll be right there." she told him. She figured Ellie might want to stay near to him, just to make sure he's alright. : /

"Of course." she told him. "We should probably help you get inside though." she said and wheeled him to the front door, opened it, then wheeled him in. "I think you're good from here." she said. "Remember, right next door, and don't hesitate to call." she told him.

"Got it." Sean smiled slightly, even if it was completely fake. "Call me if you need anything." He tried lightening up the atmosphere.

"I will be fine." she told him, and laughed a bit. "Well..goodnight." she said and walked out the front door. She walked over to Ellie who was still standing by the car, with her arms crossed. She just looked very uncomfortable. "Ellie, things will work out." she told her, trying to help her feel better. "Do you want to spend the night?" she asked. Her house was right next to Sean's, so if he needed them, they could be there.

Ellie shrugged her shoulders a bit. "If you don't mind?" She said to her. She didn't want Charlie feel like she had to let her stay but Ellie liked the idea that if Sean was in trouble, they were right next door to come and help him.

"Yeah, it's no problem." she smiled, and they walked over to Charlie's house. Charlie's grandparents were asleep sense it was late, so they quietly walked inside. Charlie walked into her room and set up an air mattress. "Hopefully this is alright." she said, as she put the sheets on top of it. "You should probably turn up your phone, so if Sean calls, we wake up from it." she told her.

Ellie nodded and turned the volume up on her phone. She didn't want to do it too loud that it'd wake her grandparents up. Ellie was a light sleeper anyway so it wouldn't take much to wake her. Putting her phone down next to the mattress she looked at Charlie. "Do you think he's going to be alright?". She was obviously talking about Sean.

Charlie bit her lip, knowing she couldn't really say. "I hope so." she told Ellie. "I mean the doctors did say he could go home. If he wasn't alright, i don't think they would let him go." she explained.

Ellie shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly, trying to make it seem as if it didn't bother her much. Honestly, his well being was constantly at the front of her mind. But, Charlie had a point and that calmed her worry a tad. "Thanks for letting me stay tonight." She smiled slightly. "It sorta helps me.. deal. I didn't really want to be alone tonight.". The break up with Sean was hurting her badly.

"Of course. I don't blame you.." she said. She could tell that Ellie was really hurt. Charlie bit her lip, wondering if she should say something or not. Anyone could tell that she was hurting, and that could be because of Sean's condition, but Charlie knew it was because of the breakup. "Do you wanna talk about it?" she asked.

She shook her head as she felt tears stupidly form underneath her eye lids."I'm just scared.. for Sean." Ellie told her. "And, the break up.. just, everything hurts right now.." She said with a sigh.

Charlie saw that Ellie was struggling to fight back her tears. "I am too." Charlie admitted. It's not like he was cured, he's just not in the worst condition possible. She bit her lip. "Would it be wrong to go back to him, tell him your sorry..and get back together?" she asked. Them being together seemed to distracts him from all of this, which is what he needed.

Listening to her friend, Ellie sighed. "I-I want to.. But being together, what good is that going to do..?". Sure, it'd make her really happy but it'd be selfish for her to get back with him for her own happyness. Sean needed to focus on himself. Relationships would be too much of a distraction.

"Well for one, it will make him a lot happier than he is right now." she explained. "I mean, maybe he needs that. Maybe he wanted you to be beside him during the whole thing." She paused, to think. "Okay...think about when you're going through a hard time. Don't you want your friends to be there to help you with it?" she asked.
