"Hm." Sean paused, scratching his chin. "Well, pasta sounds good to me!" He laughed, unable to think of anything simple enough that he could cook.

She smiled and pulled the pasta out of the top cupboard above the sink. "Pasta it is then."

Sean laughed, looking around for a pot. "Pasta is always a safe way to go!" He laughed.

"How much water do we need?" She asked, laughing at her stupidity."The whole thing or what?" Ellie said as she brought out a pot.

"Fill it up half way!" Sean said, shrugging. "I think that's what my mum used to do." He laughed a little.

Ellie took his advice, having very little cooking experience. Her dad used to do everything.. and now that he was gone she had to learn since she had no mom to go and take the place of being head chef. After it was filled half way, she handed it over to Sean.

Sean grabbed the pot, and put it on one of the burners on the oven. He turned the heat on, and stood behind it, waiting for it to boil. "A watched pot never boils!" He laughed, turning his back on the warm water.

Ellie laughed along with Sean. "I'm gonna go check with Abby if her friend is staying for dinner. I'll be back in two secs.". Was her friend even still here?. She walked upstairs to see them making out on Abby's bed. Ow, shit. No. As the door flung open, Abby jumped up. "El, I can ex-". Ellie shook her head, telling her not to worry about it. She wasn't her mother. She was free to make her own choices. "I was just coming up to check if your.. friend is staying for dinner.". "Is it alright if I do?" He asked both Abby and Ellie. They both nodded and Ellie went to leave the room. "I think I'll just leave this open." She said laughing, talking about the door. Abby went a bright shade of red along her cheeks and Ellie went back downstairs into the chicken. "Well that was interesting." She told Sean.

(LOL im laughing so hard. You write "Ellie went back downstairs into the chicken" and i'm sitting here hysterically laughing even though it's not that funny)
Sean nodded as Ellie left, and he kept making sure the water wasn't ready yet. She came back down the stairs a few minutes later, and Sean had poured the pasta in the pot already. "What was?" He asked, pointing upstairs. "What were they doing?" His eyes widened.

[AHAHAHAHAHAHHA OMG OOPS]
"Oh y'know just the usual, making out.". Before tonight she had never ever imagined that Abby had kissed a boy. She probably had but it was her little sister. Seeing that.. wow. "Then when I caught them, the boy was just sitting there looking pretty happy with himself."

"Ewwie!" Sean laughed, only joking around. "He must have cooties! Quick, go give your sister a bath! She's probably contaminated!"

Ellie pushed him, not appreciating his joke. "Shut up, it's weird, okay?". Sean was standing over the pot with the pasta basically doing everything whilst Ellie stood at the side on looking. She found it strange to think that she started the day not knowing him, not all of the sudden they were as close as ever. "So, what do we do, do we just.. wait?".

Sean laughed, mixing the pasta around. "Yep! It should be done in like another minute." Sean smiled.

"Oh, good." She smiled. While Sean was mixing the pasta around, Ellie grabbed out some bowls that the pasta would be served in and she also got the cutlery ready to go.

Sean waited for Ellie to set down the bowls, and then Sean drained the water into the sink. He evenly distributed the pasta, and put the pot in the sink. "All done! Bonappetite!" He laughed, trying to put on his best french accent.
