Wesley noticed that their waiter was low-key flirting with Jade, but he ignored it. He wasn't going to be that guy who freaks out on a date because a guy simply looked at a girl. He took a bite of his food. "It's really good. I'm glad we came here." He grinned and the waiter came back once they finished their meals. "Do you want any desserts?" He asked Jade.

"Me too!". They finished off their meals and the friendly waited collected them before asking about desserts. "Well, I'm fine. Do you want anything?" She asked Wesley. Jade herself was never a big eater and the main meal usually filled her nicely.

"I heard their Tiramisu is really good." he gave the waiter his dessert order and looked at Jade. "You bake, so I'm sure you've had it right?" he asked.

"Have as much as you want." he smiled and the dessert came. They both dug into the Tiramisu and then the check came. Wesley payed for the meal, the waiter thanked them for coming, and the exited the restaurant. It was cold outside and Wesley turned to Jade. "Are you cold? Need my jacket?" he asked.

"I'm fine. But thank you." She told him. Jade could hardly believe what a gentleman Wesley was. It really fit in with the British stereotype. Him opening doors for her, paying for their meals, pulling her chair out for her, offering his jacket. He must have noticed her looking at him funny as he said, "What?" with a laugh. She grinned. "You're just so different from all the other guys around here. It's nice.". The guys she knew were lovely but not like this. The pair got back into Wesley's car and he drove them to the movie theater where the second part of their date continued. "Don't worry, I won't make you see a sappy romantic comedy just for her benefit." She said to him as she got out his car.

He laughed along with her. "I really appreciate that." He grinned and looked up at the movies playing. "What should we see? Action? Comedy? Thriller?"

She shrugged her shoulders. "I'm fine with whatever. You choose!". Jade didn't want to be the cliche girl and choose thriller just so that she could craddle into his arms.. although she didn't hate the idea of it. "You get the tickets. I'll go get us some popcorn." She said as she walked off and went to the candy desk. Sure, they'd both just had dinner but with Jade, it wasn't right to go to the movies without popcorn.

"If you're sure." He said as Jade went to the counter. Wesley bought the tickets for Catching Fire mans walked back to her. "We're seeing catching fire. I'm kind of dying to see it, if I'm being honest." He chuckled and they made their way to their seats.

"Good choice!" Jade said to him. She'd never read the book series but she liked the first movie so she was sure she'd like the second. They filled into the cinema and shuffled into their seat. Jade placed the popcorn between them and watched the screen as the lights began to dim and the trailers started to play. First came The Amazing Spiderman 2 trailer. "I really wanna see this when it comes out." She whispered.

"Me too. Spider-Man has always been my favorite." He whispered so they weren't too loud. The movie began and Wesley put his arm around Jade to bring her a little closer to him. He thought about kissing her, but he knew that was typical of movie dates, and he didn't want that. Plus, he actually wanted to watch the movie.

When Wesley put his arm around her, Jade smiled and felt butterflies in her stomach. It was stupid. She barely even knew him. But it gave her the confirmation she needed that this was in fact a date. Digging into the popcorn, she sat comfortably watching the movie.

He smiled when she snuggled into him, and took a bite of his popcorn. The movie eventually ended, and they walked out of the theatre. "What'd you think about it?" he asked.

"I really liked it. What about you?" She asked as they came to a still just outside the theatre. This is probably where they would end the night and she didn't know how to go about it. Did she hug him, kiss him, just walk off or what? "Well, thanks for taking me out tonight. I had a really nice time."

"Yeah, I did too." He smiled. Wesley wasn't one to kiss on the first date, but he felt like it was right. He moved a hair away from her eyes and kissed her. Maybe it was too soon, but he hoped she didn't think so.
