Ellie Mankelow walked out of the local Starbucks with her cell in one hand, and her coffee in another. She got up to her car when she started to get hounded by reporters. Ever since her fathers death, they had barely left her alone. They surrounded her so much that she couldn't even get into her own car to leave. She just stood there and waited for them to back off. But they didn't. They just continued to yell at her and take photos. Of what? Her standing out at car. How stupid, she thought.
"Your father deserved to die!" Ellie heard a voice say. This definitely hit a nerve. She knew she shouldn't have reacted. This is exactly what the reporters would want but she couldn't help it. She turned to see that the voice had been coming from a complete stranger off the street, not even a reporter. Ellie bit her lip, trying not to yell as they just stood there grinning at her. "He was scum, and all of you Mankelow's deserve to be dead." he then said. And with that, he threw his hot coffee all over her, causing her to moan in pain. It was freaking hot. Ellie ran back into Starbucks, and headed straight for the bathroom. Embarrassment and shame washed over her as she ran to the sink and began to try and get rid of the awful stain that was now covering her new top.

Massaging her temples lightly with both hands, Sienna Rhodes stepped out of the last bathroom stall at the local Starbucks. She had heard the bathroom door open and had remembered that she had left all of her belongings tossed about the baby changing station. Her head throbbed after a long, hard night of partying last night. She always frequented Starbucks the morning following a big party, the coffee seeming to help her uneasy stomach and throbbing head. This morning, however, her coffee seemed to be doing little to help.
Her eyes flicked to the baby changing table, noting that her purse, her jacket and her mocha were still sitting exactly where she left them. Satisfied, Sienna turned her attention to the teenager standing at the sink, trying to get a stain out of her shirt. "Here," Sienna pulled her over-sized bag from the baby changing table, fishing through it for her favor life-saving tool. A Tide to Go pen. It seemed that little thing could get rid of any stain, anywhere. Pulling it out, Sienna tossed her bag back to the baby changing table and walked over to the sink. She held it out to the girl, "Coffee? It's probably not coming out with just water. Trust me, I've been there."

Relief flashed across Ellie's eyes as she saw the girl in front of her holding a tide to go pen. "You're a life saver.". Her eyes then met the girls and they exchanged a brief smile. Ellie's eyes then went back to the stain. "Drink a bit too much last night?" She said with a slight chuckle. She didn't at all judge the girl. She was quite the party girl herself when she wanted to be.

Sienna smiled at the girl, waving it off. "It's no big deal; I spill coffee on myself all the time." She laughed, shaking her head. At the girl's question, Sienna looked past her at herself in the mirror. Her hair was in a messy pony tale, and she did look half-alive. Typical morning-after-a-big-party look. "That obvious, huh? There was a killer party last night." [/blockquote]

"Sadly enough, I didn't spill this coffee on myself. It was thrown at me. Classy stuff hey?" Even through the drunken haze that was cast over her at that moment, you could clearly see that the girl was absolutely stunning. It made Ellie suddenly completely self concious of how she looked as she caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror. Ugh. The girl then mentioned that she had been to a killer party the previous night, answering her question. "Pissed that I missed it. It sure looks like you had a hell of a time."

Sienna's eyes went slightly wide as the girl explained that the coffee mess wasn't her own fault. "Who threw coffee on you? And, more importantly, why?" The idea seemed quite alarming to the young adult. Leaning against the sink, she watched idly as the other girl tried hard to get the coffee off her shirt. The girl seemed nice, hardly the type to deserve a coffee on her.
"My friend throws like, the best parties; I always have a hell of a time with him. Bet I could talk him into another party next weekend, if you're interested?" The fact that the girl was a partier, or at least that she hinted that she was, made Sienna slightly more interested in the situation. [/blockquote]

Ellie shrugged. "My family's a bit.. known in this area." "I'm a Mankelow. Ellie Mankelow to be precise.". She wasn't sure whether the girl had heard of her father. She was guessing from her fashion sense that the girl would be clued in on who were the richest men in the country were. Especially when that man ran one of the highest selling make up and beauty product company's world wide. "And I guess sometimes having that reputation.. well, you can attract some haters."
Her eyes lit up when she was told that she may be able to convince her friend to throw another party next weekend. It'd been so long since she'd been to a party and she just had to get back out on the scene. "Yes! That'd be awesome.". Her eyes went back to her shirt and she smiled to herself as she saw that the stain now appeared to be gone. Now quite content, Ellie hoped off the bench and gathered all her things back in her bag as they had been sprawled about as she threw them done on entry.

"Oh my gosh," Sienna's face instantly shifted into a tired, but excited grin as Ellie mentioned her name. The Mankelow line used to be one of her favorites; at one point in time Sienna idolized Ellie's father. "Your father was, like, one of my heros. His cosmetics were always so amazing. I'm so sorry about his death. I can't believe people don't appreciate what he's done for the world of cosmetics!" Sienna shook her head at the thought, pushing away from the counter and over to her own belongings as Ellie finished scrubbing the stain.
The idea of another party was already exciting. Grinning to herself, she began to gather her belongings from the baby changing table. She lived for parties. "Oh, I'm Sienna, by the way. I'll be sure to let you know what my friends says. No one should miss out on a party."

She couldn't help but smile when Sienna spoke of her father so highly. She idolized her father also, and she had a great sense of pride knowing that her father was able to do that to others too. Ellie smiled, "Well, you're very kind for saying that and I'm sure that he would appreciate that."
Once they were sure that they had collected all of their personal belongings, they exited the bathroom. Ellie grabbed a napkin off of one of the tables and began to write down her number. She then handed it to the girl. "Just so that you have a way to contact me."

Sienna shoved her bag over her shoulder, grabbing what remained of her mocha. She followed Ellie out of the bathroom, pausing by the table as Ellie scribbled down her number on a napkin. Taking it, Sienna typed the number into her phone and hit 'save.' She then proceeded to send Ellie a text.
'hey. it's sienna rhodes. <3'
Once the text was sent, Sienna stuffed her phone and the napkin back into her bag and nodded toward the door. "Do you want a ride home? Wouldn't want another coffee mishap." [/blockquote]

Ellie nodded, accepting Sienna's offer. As much as she didn't want to be a hassle on her, she really didn't want any more attention from reporters. "That'd be great, thanks.". Sienna and herself then headed toward the door. Ellie had a passing glance over at her poor vehicle parked in her usual parking spot. It was swarmed by reporters. She'd just have to pick it up later that night, when it wasn't so busy.

"Great. I'm just parked around the side there." Sienna lead the way out the door, following Ellie's glance toward a rather old car that was swarmed by reporters. Must be Ellie's car. Sienna found herself rather thankful that the reporters were bothering someone else for a change. She'd been fairly lucky lately, though it was sad that it had to be Ellie.
The only car parked on the side of the building at this hour was Sienna's red Mini Cooper. She hit the button, unlocking it and then climbing in. Tossing her purse in the back seat, she placed her drink in the cup holder and then turned to Ellie. "Where to?" [/blockquote]

She blurted out her address and the engine purred as Sienna put her key in the ignition. Ellie rested her elbow on the window seal, and gazed out the window as Sienna reserved out of her parking spot.
The girls were sitting at a red light in the middle of a traffic jam that seemed to be be caused by an accident further down the main road. Sienna seemed to be becoming impatient by this annoyance and was getting a bit frustrated. They had both been sitting in silence so Ellie took this opportunity to break the silence. "So, you look really familiar. Have I seen you around before?"

They hadn't made it far down the road when Sienna had to bring the car to a stop. A rather large traffic jam seemed to be in the making and it didn't seem as if they were going anywhere any time soon. "Damn traffic," Generally an impatient person, after about thirty seconds passed of not moving, Sienna began to tap her fingers on the steering wheel impatiently. She didn't have the nerves for this today.
Then Ellie spoke. Sienna's gaze turned to the girl, suddenly remembering that she wasn't alone in the car. "Oh, it's definitely possible. My mom is Genevieve Preston, the fashion designer. I've modeled for her throughout the years and I've done some acting." Sienna shrugged, as if it were no big deal. Her family had always been extremely well off, so she just took it for granted. Truth was, she was probably more famous for the fact that she partied than anything. She as a socialite first, an actress later. [/blockquote]

She couldn't help but let her mouth drop when she said that Genevieve Preston is her mother. "My dad used to work with her all the time. He thought she was really talented!". Now that she thought about it, they both looked really similar and she felt some what silly for not putting it together soon. Ellie knew that she was famous for being a party but was unfamiliar with her acting work. She made a note of it in her mind to check out her work.
Moments later, the traffic jam seemed to pass off and we were now moving at a much more even pace than before. This seemed to please Sienna, as Ellie saw a smile creep across her face. Ellie wound down her window, and returned to her earlier position, letting the wind sweep through her hair as they rushed past the incoming traffic.
It didn't take the girls long to reach Ellie's house. She pushed opened the door and hopped out the door, with a skip in her step. "Do you wanna come in?" She offered, and she was gathering her things from the passenger seat to take inside, "You're more than welcome. It's just me and my sister living here now and I think she's out for the day."
