With the amount of drama in Kingswood, parties were an absolute must. Only problem was.. sometimes parties can be responsible for even more drama and no one needs that in their lives. This time, it was Ellie's turn to host the party at the Mankelow Mansion. It was known to be one of the biggest and most beautiful houses in all of Kingswood making it the perfect party location.
Fluttering around the house, Ellie made sure that everything looked perfect before the guests began to arrive. For the decorations, she decided to keep it simple but she hung up fairly lights all over the place which gave a magical yet nightclub party vibe to the house. Ellie was filling up the last of the mini fridge when the doorbell rang. The music blasted through her ears as she waltzed towards the door wearing a tight black dress with a lace top and black platform pumps on her feet. The party was open invite so that meant that anyone and everyone was able to come - just as long as they didn't pick a fight - so Ellie wasn't sure who to expect as she opened the door.

Raya still only knew one person, Charlie. She's never really been to any parties, but Charlie told her about one tonight. She was nervous to go since she's never been to one and didn't know what to expect, but she wanted to make friends. She knew they were all going to be a little younger, so she tried to use that to psych herself out of being so nervous. She doesn't know why she gets so shy around people, she's always been that way. She didn't know what to wear, so she put a gold, sparkly dress on, with one inch high heels. She's already tall enough as it is. She left her hair naturally curly, and put some light make up on. She grabbed her clutch with her phone in it, and started heading to the address Charlie told her. That's another thing she needed to get, was a car. And a job, to get a car. It didn't seem far away, so she decided to walk.
She finally got there after what seemed like hours of walking, but it was only 10 minutes away. She hesitantly rang the doorbell. Someone answered, and she assumed it was Ellie, the one hosting the party. "Hi, you don't know me. I'm Raya. Charlie told me about this party tonight, and I'm new to Kingswood, so I thought i'd come to here to meet some people. Is that okay?" Raya said, and laughed her nervous laugh.

The girl at the door had introduced herself as Raya. She said that she was new to town which Ellie had already guessed by the fact that she hadn't seen her around before. "Yeah, sure, of course!" A smile came across her face and she moved out of the way so that Raya could walk in. "You're the first one here.". Ellie pointed towards each direction as she stated where all the drinks and food could be found. "I'm Ellie by the way. But Charlie probably told you that." Ellie laughed slightly.

"Thanks!" She smiled. "Yeah, she did tell met that. I wasn't positive it was you, but I thought so." She laughed a little. She looked around the room, then back to Ellie. "So how long have you lived here?" Raya asked, making small talk before other guests come.

"About seven years." Ellie said before pouring herself a cup of soda. "Where abouts are you from?". She seemed sorta country-ish so she guessed somehow where like Tennessee but she couldn't be sure about that.

"Dang, so you know this place pretty well I'm guessing." Raya said. "I'm from Nashville, I moved here for college. Kingswood is so much different from Tennessee."

She shrugged her shoulders a bit. Sadly she did. "Oh that's cool!" "Yeah.. well.. Different a word often used to describe Kingswood.". Ellie bit her lip. She didn't want to turn Raya off of it.

It seems like everyone has someone bad to say about Kingswood, at least that's what it sounded like. "Is it that bad here? Or is it just the people that surround it?" She asked.

She decided to be honest. "It's a really beautiful town and there are some wonderful people here.. but, there are some that are not so wonderful..". Ellie laughed a little and shrugged her shoulders. "It's like any place I guess. You're always going to find the full of it make your lives hell over a guy type of people."

"Great." Raya said quietly, and laughed. "I guess I just have to wait and see what my experience here is like.. and hope for the best." She said as she got up to get a drink.

"So it must have been hard leaving your family back in Nashville." She said, making light chit chat until some more guest arrived. "Did anyone move here with you or are you own your own?"

"very. Probably one of the hardest things I've ever done." She said. "I moved here alone, I was hoping my brother would move with me but that didn't happen." She laughed a little. "Do you live with your family?" She asked.

"Oh why not?" Ellie asked, referring to why her brother hadn't moved along with her. She bit her lip. "Um, well it's just me and my sister now. My dad recently passed away and my sister and I never really knew my mom so just us now.". Ellie smiled slightly, trying to pass it off. She didn't want the conversation to become grim and awkward with the mention of Ellie's parents.

Alex was running late to Ellie's house party, cause he had a long shift at the cheesecake factory. Thankfully, he got there about 30 minutes after it started. He was kind of excited to go, especially since the last party he went to, was where he met her. He rang the doorbell and she answered. "Hey!" he smiled and hugged her, as a few guests walked through the door. "I hope I haven't missed much..i had a late shift." he explained, and saw a girl standing nearby, who must have been talking to Ellie. "Are you new?" he asked her. He hadn't seen her recently. "I'm Alex." he said introducing himself.

"Because it's his senior year this year, he didn't want to be new to a school, ya know?" She said. When she said her dad passed away, her heart instantly sunk. "I'm so sorry," She said, as the door bell rang.
Some people came in, and some guy asked if she was new. She smiled a nodded, "Yeah! Just moved here a couple days ago."
