Sean frowned as he listened to Charlie speak. "This Victoria girl seems like...just a bunch of trouble." He looked around the room, and then finally back at Charlie

Charlie thought of the possibility of Sean leaving again, and choked up. She didn't want to even think of that. "She is.." Charlie paused. "But I won't let her mess with my friends anymore..I mean, I can't." she told him.

"If she ever does anything bad to you...tell me." He paused, letting Charlie think for a minute. He didn't want Victoria hurting Charlie; or any of Sean's friends for that matter.

"You can't do anything about it Sean.." she paused. "And I don't want you to. I don't want you to get involved in all of this drama.." she told him. Even though the rumor was about him, he didn't need to do something to make Victoria even more pissed.

Charlie smiled a bit, worried that Sean might get involve. "I appreciate that..but I'm more worried about my friends getting hurt." she told him. "I can handle myself..." she explained. How did this get so out of control?

Sean sighed, looking away from Charlie. "Whatever you say." He raised his eyebrows, not wanting anything to happen that would leave him and Charlie in an awkward situation.

Charlie sighed not wanting to dwell on it any longer. She felt like they were stuck in an awkward place. She bit her lip. "Do you want to do something? Go hang out and get our minds off of all of this?" she asked him.

"Absolutely." Sean stood up, trying to change the atmosphere in the room. He grabbed the keys to his house as him and Charlie left, locking the door behind them. "Where do you wanna go?" He smiled, looking around the familiar neighborhood.

Charlie thought of all the random places they could go. "Hmm, what about the arcade?" she asked. "I haven't played air hockey in yeaaaars." she laughed.

"I didn't even know there was an arcade here." Sean admitted with a grin on his face. "I used to love to play air hockey!" He laughed, thinking back to the times he would play with his friends at home.

"Same!" she agreed. "I'm actually pretty good." she laughed a bit, and kept walking to the arcade. "I found this place randomly the other day. Quite a few people hang out here." she said. "Surprisingly." They walked into the arcade. There were tons of games, and prizes.

Sean laughed, listening to Charlie talk. As they entered the arcade, Sean felt like a little boy again. "This is incredible!" He smiled wide, looking at the prizes you could trade in for tickets, the games all over, and the people everywhere.

"I know!" she told him. Charlie was actually surprised by the amount of people here. This town was all about partying yet so many teens were at the arcade? Charlie didn't complain, though. She spotted the air hockey machine and walked over to it. "Wanna play?" she asked Sean, and laughed.

"I have to warn you, I am a professional air hockey player." Sean winked, grabbing one of the two paddles in the center of the table. He slid one across the table to Charlie too, a grin stuck on his face.
