With everything that had been going on with Sean and the hospital incident, Ellie hadn't even had time to explain to Charlie how she was being flown away to New York for a few days so that she could meet with the head of dance department at Julliard. It had all been happening in quite a blur really. None of the last few days felt real.
It was the night that Ellie had been flown over to New York. She had just arrived in her hotel room. She opened the doors to her balcony and sat down in one of the chairs, taking in the amazing view that she could see. She took a deep breathe and pulled out her phone from her pocket. She considered calling Sean.. but after what a jerk he'd been, she decided against it. At this point, she had no idea that Sean was set on the idea of leaving. Instead she called Charlie's home phone. "Hey Char, guess where I am?" Ellie said once Charlie had answered.

"Ellie? Hey!" she said. "Where are you?" she asked confused. Shouldn't she be in Kingswood?

"I'm in New York!" She was grinning even though Charlie couldn't see her. Awkward. "I know it's crazy but I just didn't have time to tell you. Julliard fell me over here to meet with them!"

Charlie paused for a moment. "Wait what?" she asked, then Ellie explained. "Oh my gosh! Ellie, that's absolutely amazing!" she basically screamed, out of excitement. "Seriously? Congratulations! When did they contact you about this?" she asked.

"After the dance concert. They were in the audience. Some guy approached me and told me to call him and then they organised a meeting!" Ellie was absolutely buzzing about this. "I was going to tell you but with the whole James kissing and Sean in hospital thing.. the timing was just crap.". "But anyway, how's things at home? ..How's Sean?". She had to ask..

"Well, like i said congrats! that's seriously amazing. I'm so happy for you!" She told her. "Things are okay here.." she told her. She knew Ellie was going to ask about Sean. "Sean..sean's out of the hospital, thankfully. But he's still frustrated..he was talking about going home." she mentioned.

"Thanks!" Ellie said smiling. She listened as Charlie talked about Sean. She was so relieved to hear that he was out of hospital only to be put with more sadness on top. There was silence over the phone for a brief moment. "H-He's going home? ..Why?". This didn't make any sense to her. She knew he wasn't a big fan of Kingswood but honestly, who was?

Charlie stopped,and thought she better choose her words carefully. "He's not going home for sure, he's just...mentioned it." she told her. "I think he's stressed. Which really, you can't blame him." she sighed.

"Oh, well, good for him then I guess.". Ellie pretended to laugh as if she was happy for Sean going back home if that's what he wanted. She felt upset that Sean hadn't spoken to her about it, but then again, they're not talking, so why would he?. She sighed. "I'll miss him." So much.

"Me too." she sighed, on the phone. This was a depressing conversation. "But he hasn't made up his mind. Which I'm determined to change it." she told her.

A smile came to Ellie's face. She really didn't want Sean to be going away anywhere. She knew that he pretty much had a death wish currently and with the cancer, when he's not around the group he'd just let himself fade away. "Anyway," Ellie said trying to change the conversation to a much more light hearted topic, "It's amazing here. I only just got here but the view, wow! I can't wait to see it at night!"

"I am so jealous I you!" She laughed. "I'm stuck in Kingswood and you're in possibly the greatest place ever? Not fair!" she laughed again. "So are you doing anything fun while you're there? Any broadway shows? Shopping?" she asked.

"I'm here for a few days. I meet up with Julliard tomorrow then i'll probably walk around the city, see what they do around here and lots and lots of shopping!" She giggled, "But it's okay, you've got your lover Jordan at home. How's that going?"

"I know I already said I'm jealous..but i'll say it again, NO FAIR!" she told Ellie."You have to call me immediately after to tell me how it went! Deal?" "My lover Jordan?" she laughed at the sound of that. "Uhh..it's going..I guess." she laughed again, not really knowing what to say.
