James sat in the middle of Kingswood Airport, staring at his feet, unsure if he should buy a ticket or not. The last few days, James had been acting stupidly. Back home in England, he was never one to act now think later, which is exactly why he wanted to try in Kingswood and were did it get him?. Sean hates him for kissing his girlfriend, Ellie disgusted with him, Charlie thinks he's scum, Jordan hates him for kissing Tiffany, Tiffany thinks he's a traitor for 'swapping sides'. Everyone is against him.. and he couldn't blame them. Running away seemed to be the easier option. He couldn't stand to look at the mirror after what he'd done let alone face his friends.. well, ex friends..

For once in her life, Charlie's parents were actually being cool. Because they knew she missed her brother so much, they let him fly to visit her. She was ridiculously excited. Her and her grandparents drove to the airport to pick him up. Charlie had a huge grin on her face, when she noticed James sitting in one of the chairs. Why was he at the airport? She was still upset with him, but she was still curious. "I'll be right back.." she told her grandparents and walked over towards James. "Hey.." "What are you doing here?" She asked him.

"Uh.. just.. leaving maybe." He said, clearing his throat. James hadn't expected that Charlie would be here. Crap. "Going somewhere?" He asked, nodding towards the whole lot of bags she'd left behind her.

"Leaving?!" She asked. "What..why?" she asked, again. "I know things have been..shaky, but you can't just get up and runaway." She explained to him. She looked at the bags. "No, that's my brother's luggage. He's coming to visit." She grinned.

"England. Home." He told her. She told him that he couldn't just get up and run away. "Yeah, why not?". James could see how happy Charlie was that she was getting her brother back for a bit. Good. She deserved to be happy. "That's great." He said with a slight smile.

"Because life can be tough, but most of the time things fall back in place. And getting up and running away, will not make your problems go away." she told him. "Your problems will follow you." She told him. "Yeah, I'm pretty excited to have him here for a little while." she smiled,but then came back to the current situation. "So, what are you gonna do?" She asked him.

He shrugged his shoulders. "Yeah, maybe eventually. But for the mean time, going home for a while.. I'll get away from it.. at least for a bit." He told her. "So, I'm leaving.. I think.". James wished he hadn't sounded so unsure. If he was unsure, then it became obvious he could be persuaded to stay and that wasn't what he really wanted.. was it?

"The only thing you're getting away from is the situation you're in. Sure Sean might cool off, but it's not going to change what happened." She explained, trying to be sincere. "Well, do you really want to?" She asked him. Charlie knew that if he went home, he most likely would not come back.

"I know that, which is why I need to leave. I've just hurt everyone around me by being here. That's all I've done. So if I leave, it gives people a chance to get over it by the time that I come back." He said, "..If I even do come back.".

"Okay, maybe you made a few mistakes. But maybe if you sincerely apologize, things will be..better." She explained to him.
"I think that they'll be more upset about you leaving, than staying and working it out with them." She said. She really didn't want him to leave.

"They're not gonna forgive me for the crap I've done, Charlie." He stated, simply, knowing that he was right. "I wouldn't give Sean if he did that to me so why should I expect he forgive me?"

"Why wouldn't they?" She asked him. "Sure, it's gonna be a little hard to trust you again. but you just have to prove to them that you can be trusted." she explained. "And while we're talking about this, why did you do that?" She asked, honestly curious.

James was beginning to be persuaded. Ugh. Charlie. "..Even if I did. What would I say to them?". Charlie asked James why he did it. His throat completely closed up. In all honesty, he wasn't sure why he did it. His eyes fell to the floor. "I was full of anger.". "Back home, I had a girlfriend. On the plane ride here, she sent me a text. It said that she wanted to break up and that out of the two years we were together, she spent most of it sleeping around with my best friend.. and now they're having a kid..". Pain washed over him but James tried to hide it. "I know it doesn't justify what I did but I was just.. angry and not myself.." He sighed. James was blabbering on and she probably didn't even care about his sob story, "..Sorry." He added on.

Charlie honestly felt bad for James. "I'm so sorry.." She told him. "That's horrible of your best friend, and that girl." You could really tell that James was sorry. "Explain that. Just explain that to them..explain that you were at a bad place." She told him. It all kind of made more sense once he explained that.
